Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already. I’ll be leaving on a 6am flight tomorrow morning for a crafting retreat in Georgia. I’m so excited about going and seeing everyone.
Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We are doing month-long challenges now, so you have all month to enter multiple times. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Changing Leaves Bundle along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper and Textured Metallic Specialty Paper for my Freestyle Collage card today. I was inspired by the copper touches and leaves in the inspiration photo.

Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to a Basic Beige card base using Liquid Glue. Adhere the 3 panels of Pretty Peacock to the card front using Glue Dots. Emboss a panel of Basic Beige using the Changing Leaves EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Copper Textured Metallic mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the card front over the Pretty Peacock strips, using Liquid Glue
Cut the large leaf using the Changing Leaves Dies and Hybrid EF from a panel of Oxidized Copper Paper. From a panel of Pretty Peacock, cut the leaves using the Changing Leaves Dies. Adhere the large leaf to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the smaller leaves under the large leaf using Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Changing Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with Copper Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the Changing Leaves Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few copper Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the card front.
On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from the Changing Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. Stamp the large leaf image from the Changing Leaves stamp set in Versamark Ink on the bottom of the panel. Sprinkle the image with Copper Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Adhere the Basic Beige panel to a Copper Clay mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.
Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the leaf images from the Changing Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock Inks on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the envelope flap.
