Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going well. It’s a rainy one here in NJ, so great time to stay in and play catch up.

Today’s card is a CAS one using an older stamp set and new DSP. Here’s my card for today.

On a panel of Cajun Craze, stamp the sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the Textured Notes Dies. Add a piece of Early Espresso Linen Thread to the card front and adhere the sentiment over the linen thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals.. Adhere the die cut pumpkin image to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Add a few Low-Profile Dots to the card front.

My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #841. I just LOVE this color combo.

Using the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch, cut a Post-It Note. Place the circle in the center of the Basic White panel. Stamp the smaller leaf image from the Textured Notes stamp set in Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze and Night of Navy Inks around the circle, having all the stems stamp on the circle. Remove the circle Post-It Note from the Basic White panel.

Cut a panel of Nests of Winter DSP and adhere it to the center of the Lost Lagoon die cut square. Adhere the layered square to the center of the 4 squares with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Good Monday morning stamping friends, welcome to a new week. How was your weekend? I got outside for a little while yesterday, deadheading some of my flowers, picking tomatoes and getting the stakes in my tomato plants. They are really taking off and some of them are very top heavy with tomatoes.

My design today came from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #694.

Stamp the detailed leaf image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink in the center of a Basic White card front. Stamp the detailed leaf image again in the bottom right and top left corners of the panel going off the page.

Stamp the solid fill leaf image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Darling Duckling Ink over the center detailed leaf. Stamp the splatter image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set randomly around the leaf in Night of Navy Ink. Adhere the Basic White card front to a Granny Apple Green mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2025-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

Stamp the detailed leaf image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the sentiment. Stamp the solid leaf image in Darling Duckling Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed leaf image. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the detailed leaf image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink on the envelope front and flap. Stamp the solid leaf image in darling Duckling Ink over the detailed leaf images on the envelope flap. Stamp the splatter image from the Artistic Leaves stamp set in Night of Navy Ink randomly round the leaves.

Together Let’s Raise Some Money for the Floods in Texas from July 4th

We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by the flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas on July 4th.  It’s beyond horrible.  Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I’m coming to you for HELP! So…I’m going to do a fundraiser that’ll start right now.  I’ve selected Mercury One as the recipient of our donation. 

Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds.
