Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves on Thoughtful Journey

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful one here in NJ. This past week was absolutely gorgeous. Monday morning, I shut my A/C and opened all the windows, and they have been open all week long. The humidity has been very low, the nights have been cool, and days have been in the 70’s. You can’t ask for anything better.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Bough Punch, Heartfelt Hexagon Punch and Thoughtful Journey 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Adhere a panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to a Boho Blue card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set in Boho Blue Ink. Stamp the splatter image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, around the sentiment. Punch the sentiment out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. Ahere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Boughs Punch, punch out some leaves and flowers from scraps of Thoughtful Journey DSP. Adhere the leaves and flowers under the sentiment using Liquid Glue. Add a few 2023-2025 In-Color Opaque Sparkle Dots to the card front.

On the inside, stamp the sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the outline leaf image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on the bottom of the panel. Stamp the solid leaf image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Boho Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outlined image. Stamp the small flower image in Blackberry Bliss Ink full strength and stamping off once on scrap paper. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.

To finish the card, decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the leaf and flowers images from the Layering Leaves stamp set on the envelope front in Boho Blue and Blackberry Bliss Inks the same as on the card. Adhere a panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to the envelope flap.

I’m offering a Designer Series Paper share from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog and I’d love to have you join!!  I’m placing my share order early on September 4th and I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of September 9. Wouldn’t you love to have all of the gorgeous new Designer Series Papers in the Stampin’ Up! September-December 2024 Mini Catalog?  What is a Paper Share you ask? It’s a sample of each of the new Designer Series Papers from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend!! Does anyone have plans in the works? I’ll be at work all day and it’s going to be a busy one. Once a year we have a bucket sale for The Children’s Miracle Network. Customers pay a $5 donation for a bucket and everything they can fit into it they get 20% off of. We usually do very well with this one especially since it goes to our local hospital. We’re supposed to go to a concert tonight, but the weather doesn’t look so good, severe thunderstorms, and it’s an outside concert.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Cling Stamp Set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink lengthwise on the panel. On another panel of Basic White, stamp the leaf image from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the image using the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using the Simply Zinnia Dies, cut the leaf image, cut the flower die from panels of Azure Afternoon and Balmy Blue, cut the flower center from Azure Afternoon and cut the detailed flower center from Lemon Lolly.

Adhere the flower together using Glue Dots and Liquid Glue. Adhere the flower to the top of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Snip the leaves apart using Paper Snips. Adhered the layered panel to the center of the card front using Liquid Glue. Add a few Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Adhere the other embossed panel to an Unbounded Beauty DSP mat using Liquid Glue. Adhered the layered panel over the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Attention Shoppers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White strip. Adhered the sentiment to a Pretty in Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the gift bag and flower images from the Attention Shoppers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the images using Berry Burst, Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the images out using the Attention Shoppers Dies. Adhered the images to the center panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Resin Dots to the card front.

On the inside, stamp the sentiment from the Attention Shoppers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. Flick some Shy Shamrock Ink on the panel over the sentiment. Adhere a strip of Unbounded Beauty DSP to the bottom of the panel. Stamp the cake image from the Attention Shoppers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Color the image using Peach Pie and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty in Pink mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To complete the card, decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the gift bag, cake and flowers images from the Attention Shoppers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Good Monday morning stamping friends. How was your weekend? Did anyone do anything fun? I spent yesterday in the house all day. I woke up with pink eye and wasn’t able to see very well. I was able to make a couple cards and do some rearranging in my craft studio.

I adhered 3 panels of Iconic Celebrations DSP to Mossy Meadow mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 3 layered panels to an Iconic Celebrations DSP card front using Liquid Glue.

I colored a piece of Very Vanilla 3/.4″ Satin Ribbon using Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers. I wrapped the ribbon around the card front and adhered it to the back using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Mossy Meadow card base using Liquid Glue.

I colored the image using Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the artwork to a Mossy Meadow mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Champagne Iridescent Dots using Liquid Glue.

I tied a small bow using the White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim and adhered it under the flowers using a Glue Dot.

On a thin strip of the Frames & Flowers DSP I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. I added Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the flower centers.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Poised Peony stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the medium peony from the Poised Peony stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using Lost Lagoon and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat then to the inside of the Basic White card base.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend. Working in retail, my boss said to me one time, “after 4th of July, the summer’s over”. I never believed him until lately. The summer is just flying by on me. What happen to those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy days of Summer? Time needs to slow down. We hit over 100 yesterday with the real feel of 110 in the afternoon. Then that followed by thunderstorms in the evening. A true summer day here in NJ.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you are making some plans for the weekend. I’ll be at work all day today and last I heard it’s supposed to be a thunderstorm kind of day.

Today’s card I played with another new bundle that I wasn’t sure if I wanted or not. I was leaning towards I don’t want it, then I saw some cards made and I really liked the set. Once I got it in my hands, I had a lot of fun playing with it and I’m already thinking of other cards to make with it. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Tune In Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on the die cut screen panel. I sprinkled it with Black Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the tv screen to a Silver Foil mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the tv using Liquid Glue.

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I used the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Bundle, Crafting with You Dies and Thoughtful Journey 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This is our theme for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to a Fresh Freesia mat using Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Boho Blue card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the easel and paintbrush images from the Crafting with You stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I stamped the bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using Boho Blue, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Crafting with You Dies and Country Birdhouse Dies. I cut the basket from a panel of Pecan Pie using the Crafting with You Dies. I adhered the paintbrushes behind the basket using Glue Dots.

I adhered the easel, basket and bird to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a panel of the Thoughtful Journey DSP and adhered it to the easel using Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the top of the card front. I added a few Tinsel Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the bird image from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Fresh Freesia mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bird image from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image using Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Boho Blue Ink next to the bird. I adhered a panel of Thoughtful Journey DSP to the envelope flap.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Charming Duck Pond Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Lily Pond Lane 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Pretty in Pink card base as listed in the measurements below. I cut the panel of Lily Pond Lane DSP in half at 1 7/8″. I cut the top of the panel at 3″ and I cut the bottom panel at 2″. This makes the 4 panels you need for the card front.

I adhered the panels of Lily Pond Lane DSP to Pretty Peacock mats using Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panels to Pretty in Pink card front panels using Liquid Glue. I added Liquid Glue to the right 1″ folded card front panel. I adhered the 2″ layered panel to the top and the 3″ layered panels to the bottom, lining up the right edge of the card front. I added Liquid Glue to the left 1″ card front panel. I adhered the 3″ layered panel to the top and the 2″ layered panel to the bottom, lining up the left edge.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Duck Pond stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the top card front panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Adhesive-Backed Dapple Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from Charming Duck Pond stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the duck images from the Charming Duck Pond stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the cattail image from the Charming Duck Pond stamp set in Pretty Peacock and Pretty in Pink Inks next to the ducks. I colored the images using Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, Peach Pie, Pretty in Ink and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat then to the inside of the Pretty in ink card base.

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. Happy July!! Sorry I didn’t have a post yesterday, I was out the door very early to get to work so I could get all the statements done and mailed. There seemed to be more this month. It was another beautiful day here after a bad storm we had on Sunday. There was flooding all over in my town. It looked like a muddy pool between my backyard and my neighbors. I was watching to make sure the water didn’t come too close to the house. It came down so hard and so fast that the major highway up the road from me was flooded. Everything is good though; all the water is down and where it’s supposed to be.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Frosted Forest Bundle along with the Deckled Rectangle Dies, Timber 3D Embossing Folder and Country Woods Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I adhered a panel of County Woods DSP to a Basic Beige card base using Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Basic Beige using the 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle Die. I embossed the die cut panel using the Timber 3D EF.

On a panel of Basic Beige, I stamped the tall tree image from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Forest Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink. Using the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks, I added Pecan Pie Ink to the tree trunk using the Small Blending Brush. I used Granny Apple Green Ink for the other 2 Frosted Forest Masks for the treetop using the Small Blending Brush. I cut the tree out using the Frosted Forest Dies. On the same panel of Basic Beige, I stamped the bird image from the Frosted Forest stamp set 2 times in Early Espresso Ink. I colored the birds using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the birds out using the Frosted Forest Dies. I adhered the tree to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the panel 2 times and tied a bow. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the birds to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic Beige, I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. I added a few Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (available July 3rd) to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Basic Beige. I stamped the bird image from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Early Espresso Ink by the sentiment and colored them using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Country Woods DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic Beige panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the tall tree image from the Frosted Forest stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image the same as I did for the card using the Frosted Forest Masks. I adhered a panel of Country Woods DSP to the envelope flap.
