Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope everyone is having a good week.
It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts We have 2 inspiration photos this week and you can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo 195a is Floral Spring and photo 195b is Garden Birds. Here is my card inspired by the photo.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled Cling Stamp Set along with the Inked Botanical 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Basic Borders Dies and Stylish Shapes Dies for my Clean and Layered Card. I was inspired by photo 195a, Floral Spring. I just love spring flowers.

I started by cutting a panel of Basic Whtie and Calypso Coral cardstock using the Basic Borders Dies. On the panel of Basic White, I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the large flower image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set over the leaf image. I inked up the stamp using my Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Markers. I stamped the small flower image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set on the stem of the large flower image. I inked up the stamp using the Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Markers.
I adhered a panel of Inked Botanical DSP to the Lost Lagoon card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic Whtie die cut panel to the Calypso Coral die cut panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic Whtie, I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the sentiment. I cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered a piece of Lost Lagoon 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Festive Pearls to the sentiment and Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie. I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink, stamping off once on a piece of scrap paper, on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the large and small flower images from the Inked & Tiled stamp set over the leaf image. I inked up the stamp using my Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pool Party mat then to the inside of the Lost Lagoon card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaves and floral images from the Inked & Tiled stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Inked Botanical DSP to the envelope flap.
