World Card Making Day Events!!

Team Event & Stampin’ Up! Event, Saturday October 1

We’re doing it again!!  Our team will be hosting a fun all-day event from 9:00 AM ET until 9:00 PM ET on Saturday, October 1 for World Card Making Day!  Our event will feature card making presentations live on the event Facebook page as well as some fun giveaways! 

Stampin’ Up! is also hosting an event online (see the details below) and we’re scheduling our event so that it runs before and after the Stampin’ Up! event!  Most of us will be using one of the three bundles from the Stampin’ Up! event for our projects so you will come away from the day with tons of ideas for those three bundles!

All are welcome to join us!  We’ll be setting up a Facebook page to host the event and we’ll be sharing the link to the page in late September.  Keep an eye out on my Facebook page and Blog for more details. Looking forward to stamping with you!!

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? It was a beautiful one here. The heat wave has finally lifted a bit.

I played with a Host set from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog for today’s card. This set is available when you host a party or have an order over $150 and earn Stampin’ Rewards. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Caroling Mice Host Cling Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Christmas To Remember Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by stamping the 3 singing mice from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, Polished Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I added a little color the all the scarfs and used my Color Lifter so that there was only a tint. I stamped the ground snow image from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, below the mice. I fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips. I stamped the lamp post image from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White panel. I colored the image using my Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips.

On a Basic White card front, I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas To Remember stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel. I stamped a couple of the music notes from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel and colored them using my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the panel using my Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the fussy cut images to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Mint Macaron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas To Remember stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the lamp post image from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it using my Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the music notes from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink by the sentiment and colored them using my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic White mat and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the single Mouse image and lamp post image from the Caroling Mice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the images in using my Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the envelope flap.

Product List

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have something fun in the works for this weekend.

I got some new dies a few weeks ago and was finally able to play with them. I’m really liking them and may be using them a lot more often. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Bundle along with the Cup of Tea Bundle for my card today.

I started by cutting a Soft Sea Foam card front using the Split Card Texture Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to an Evening Evergreen card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the wreath image from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Succulent Ink. I stamped the small flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Cut of Tea Photopolymer Stamp Set in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Inks. I cut the images out using my Country Wreaths Dies and Teacup Dies. Using my Country Wreaths Dies, I cut the detailed wreath from a panel of soft Succulent cardstock, the leaves from a panel of Soft Sea Foam cardstock and the bow from a panel of Rose Gold Specialty Paper.

I adhered the detailed wreath to the stamped wreath image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the small leaves using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the wreath to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the sentiment using the smallest die from the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the small flower image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Inks next to the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat and then to the inside of the Evening Evergreen card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the flower image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Inks on the envelope front and flap.
