Stampin’ Up! He’s All That Birthday

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun?

A while back my neighbor asked me to make invitations for her husband’s 80th birthday party. I finally got around to making a sample to see if she liked it, but the sample is the birthday card that I’m going to give him. The invitations do not have ribbon or embellishments on them. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! He’s All That Bundle along with the He’s The Man Designer Series Paper and the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

I started by embossing a Sahara Sand card front using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Sahara Sand card bae using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered 2 panels of He’s The Man DSP to Early Espresso mats. I adhered the smaller layered panel to the longer layered panel using Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a piece of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim around the layered panels and tied a knot. I adhered the layered panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! He’s All That Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink. I cut the image out using the All That Dies. I sponged Sahara Sand Ink around the edges of the die cut image using a Sponge Dauber. I adhered the die cut image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating you Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of He’s The Man DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Early Espresso mat and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of He’s The Man DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Today’s card my son’s girlfriend asked me to make. They had a housewarming party to go to and she needed a card. It just happens that they love gnomes. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Kindest Gnomes Bundle along with the Happy Forest Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by embossing a Sahara Sand card front using the Timber 3De Embossing Folder. I adhered the card front to a Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Happy Forest DSP using the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a Sahara Sand mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the mushroom house, and the 2 gnomes from the Stampin’ Up! Kindest Gnomes Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using my Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pale Papaya, Poppy Parade, Smoky Slate, Soft Suede, Medium Light and Light Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using my Gnomes Dies.

I adhered the images to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped it high so there was plenty of room to write. I stamped the mushroom house image from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using my Night of Navy, Pale Papaya, Poppy Parade, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Poppy Parade mat and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the mushroom house from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored it the same as I did for the card with my Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Happy Forest DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Panel Card

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works for the weekend.

Today’s card we made at our last Stamping Studio Meeting. After we’re done with the business part of the meeting, we do some Mystery Stamping. My upline Jaimie gives us very vague information, the measurements of the paper we need. She talks us through the process, and we put the card together. The cards all come out differently, but the same. Here’s my card from Mystery Stamping.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

I joined in with The Male Room Monochrome Challenge #164.

I started by embossing a Night of Navy card front using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On 3 panels of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the fern image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink randomly on the panels. I adhered the Basic White panels to Smoky Slate mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Night of Navy cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Print stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front using Glue Dots. I tied a small bow using the Simply Elegant Trim and adhered it by the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I stamped the fern image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the sides of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the fern image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! True Beauty Fun Fold Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Are you ready for the weekend? Has anyone made any plans? I have off tomorrow and tomorrow night my boss has bought all the employees and a guest, tickets to our local minor league baseball game. There are 40 of us that will be in the picnic area eating, drinking and having fun. When the game is over there’s a fireworks display, YAY!! It’s supposed to be nice out, so hopefully we won’t be sweating too much.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. I’m sorry about the hot mess with my scoring and folding of my card base. I had all the measurements written down, but I wrote one of them wrong. All the correct measurements are below. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here are my cards for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty Bundle along with the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Blushing Bride card base at 4 1/4″, 6 3/4″ & 9 1/4″.

I adhere panel of Awash In Beauty DSP to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the belly band, I took the strip of Blushing Bride cardstock and loosely wrapped it around the card base, so it slides on and off easily. I adhered it together using Stampin’ Seal +. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the rose image from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty Cling Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink and Merry Merlot Ink. Using my Organic Beauty Dies, I cut the 2 rose images and 3 sprig dies from the Basic White panel. I cut 2 of the leaf dies from a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock. I brushed some Balmy Blue Ink on the sprigs using my Blending Brush. I adhered the 2 leaf dies to the belly band using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the roses over the leaf dies using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tucked the sprigs under the roses using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the True Beauty stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to the belly band using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot. I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the belly bank.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the True Beauty stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the Awash in Beauty DSP. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the True Beauty stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I stamped the stem image from the True Beauty stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the rose image from the True Beauty stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the stem. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the inside of the card base over the DSP.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose image from True Beauty stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the envelope front. Using my Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper, I stamped the rose and fussy cut it, using my Paper Snips. I covered the rose and stamped the 2nd rose in Merry Merlot Ink and the leaf image from the True Beauty stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I adhered a panel of Awash in Beauty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Karen Finkel’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Bundle along with the Sale-a-bration Ring of Love Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This is our sketch for this week.

I started by embossing a Mint Macaron card front using the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of Rings of Love DSP to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the top of the large floral image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the small flower from the Fond of Autumn stamp set twice on the Basic White panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Pale papaya and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using my Autumn Bouquet Dies. I adhered the larger flower images to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the Basic White panel, I stamped the banner from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Night of Navy Ink inside the banner. I cut the banner out using the Autumn Bouquet Dies. I adhered the banner between the flower images using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 smaller flowers to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on either side of the sentiment. I colored the flowers using my Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat and then to the inside of the Mint Macron card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small flower image from the Fond of Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Ring of Love DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend.

Today’s card is one that we made last night at our Stamp Camp Card Class. I like to show the ladies some easy techniques when I can, and I’ve always liked the masking technique. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hideaway Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Cling Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic Bundle for my card today.

I started by using the Chic Dies and cutting a panel of Masking Paper. I adhered the die cut Masking Paper to the center of a Basic White card front. I stamped the Tropical Hideaway stamp on the top using Soft Sea Foam Ink and the bottom using Pool Party Ink. I placed the card front, with mask side down to the stamp, on top of the stamp. I placed a piece of scrap paper on top of the stamp & card front and rubbed it using my hand making sure to press to get a good, stamped image. I carefully removed the paper from the stamp making sure to lift it straight up, so it didn’t smear.

Using my Blending Brush, I added some Petal Pink Ink over the die cut mask before removing it. Once I had coverage the way I wanted, I carefully removed the Masking Paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the card front in the masked area. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I wrapped a piece of the Soft Sea Foam 3/8″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the layered panel and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the Tropical Hideaway image on a Basic White panel after stamping off once on scrap paper. It’s a very light image. I stamped the sentiment from Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel. I stamped the seashell image from Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the bottom of the panel, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the shell image from the Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Splendid Day Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s 4th? Did you go to see fireworks?

Today’s card is one that we will be making tonight at my Stamp Camp Card Class. I’m hoping the ladies like this one. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks for my card today.

I started by using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and my Blending Brush and added Highland Heather Ink to a Basic White card front. I adhered a panel of Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather card base.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large leaf image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink. I fussy cut the leaf using my Paper Snips. I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Ladybug stamp set on the leaf in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the leaf to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the ladybug body and wings from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black and Real Red Inks. On the panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the daisy image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Highland Heather Ink one in full strength and one stamped off. I punched the ladybug body and wings out using the Ladybug Builder Punch. I punched the daisies out using the Medium Daisy Punch. Using the Ladybug Builder Punch, I punched the wings from a panel of Vellum Paper and 2 from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the stamped wings to the Vellum wings using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the wings to the ladybug body using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 daisies together. I cut the Granny Apple Green wings in half and using my Bone Folder I scored the center of the wings and gave them a little fold. I adhered the leaves to the back of the daisy using Glue Dots. I adhered the daisy and ladybug to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Glossy Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the leaf image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Granny Apple Green, stamping off once on scrap paper, on a Basic White panel. I stamped the ladybug image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the leaf. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the ladybug image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Inks on the envelope front. Using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, I used my Blending Brush and added some Highland Heather Ink on the envelope flap.

Good Monday morning my stamping friends and Happy Independence Day!!! Does anyone have any fun plans for today? It’s going to be a quiet day here. Maybe a little gardening, maybe some card making and just a little BBQ for my husband, daughter and me.

I have a quick card today that I’m thinking about using for my Stamp Camp Card Class tomorrow night. I haven’t decided yet what we are going to make. I guess I should get on that. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cup Of Tea Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set and Tea Boutique 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I played along with the Colorful Options July Challenge Red, White and Blue.

I started by adhering a panel of Tea Boutique DSP to a Starry Sky card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the striped teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink. I stamped the leaf image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on top of the cup. I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on the top of the panel. I embossed the panel using the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the embossed panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a double bow using the 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the teacup handle using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on top of the cup. I adhered a strip of the Tea Boutique DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.

Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest Watercolor Card

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? Is anyone doing anything special? Going to the beach, having a picnic etc? I’ll be at work all day today, but I do have off tomorrow, YAY!!! I finally got back to my card table after a heartbreaking week. I’m going to be lost for a while without my fur baby by my side.

July is World Watercolor Month, and we have lots of water coloring products to celebrate! Pencils, paper, stamps, and more. Take a look at what we have to offer. Since its World Watercolor Month, I thought I’d make a card for today using the Watercolor Pencils. I love water coloring with my Water Painter and Ink, I haven’t used Watercolor Pencils much but I’m learning to step outside of my comfort zone. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest Cling Stamp Set along with the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper for my card today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #542.

I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to a Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the small plaid stamp from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Versamark Ink on the Crumb Cake Panel. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the panel to the card front using Stampin’ Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the apple image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Staz On Ink. I colored the image using my Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green and Real Red Water Color Pencils. Using my Water Painter, I blended the colors. I fussy cut the apple using my Paper Snips. I adhered the apple to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the apple image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Staz On Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using my Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green and Real Red Water Color Pencils. I used my Water Painter to blend the colors. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Crumb Cake mat and then to the inside of the Real Red card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the apple image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Staz On Ink on the envelope front and colored it using my Early Espresso, Granny Apple Green and Real Red Watercolor Pencils along with my Water Painter. I adhered a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the envelope flap.
