Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. I hope you are all making some fun plans for this weekend now that it’s starting to warm up a little. Last I heard it’s suppose to be a nice weekend here in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. I’m loving that it doesn’t get dark until after 8:30pm now and it’s light at 5:30am when I get up. I just LOVE this time of the year.
Today’s card is using items that will be retiring at the end of the month. I still have a bit of DSP left from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog that I want to use up. I don’t know why I’m always waiting till the end of a catalog to use it. The stamp sets I used will also be retiring. If these are sets you like, grab them while you still can. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set and the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by adhering a panel of the Snail Mail DSP to a Basic Gray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of the Snail Mail DSP to a Basic Gray mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the smaller matted panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to a Basic Gray mat using Stampin’ Seal.
I adhered the matted sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals just on the side edges of the sentiment. I added a few Resin Hearts Embellishments to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the mushroom image from the Stampin’ Up! Snailed It Cling Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Blushing Bride mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic Gray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Snail Mail DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
