Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works or maybe you’re just going to spend some time crafting and relaxing. I’ll be working today and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a slow day. It’s that time of the year when it’s too cold to do work outside and they’ve gotten most of their inside projects done.
I have a fun card today using a bundle from the January-April Mini Catalog that I finally was able to play with. If you’d like to see a quick video on how I made my card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Ice Cream Swirl Bundle along with the Sale-a-bration Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.
My design is from Tuesday Morning Sketches #745.
I started by adhering a panel of Most Adored DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered 3 smaller panels of the Most Adored DSP to the layered panel using Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Liquid Glue.
Using the Ice Cream Swirl Dies, I cut the solid ice cream from a panel of Basic White, the ice cream swirl from a panel of Flirty Flamingo, the sprinkles from a panel of Early Espresso and the dish (which is the top of the ice cream cone) from a panel of Coastal Cabana. For the dish, I used the large ice cream cone die, cut them apart at the fold line and cut the bottom using Paper Snips. I adhered the Flirty Flamingo swirl to the Basic White ice cream. I adhered the layered ice cream to the dish using Glue Dots. I adhered the dish of ice cream to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a small panel of Basic White, I stamped the cherry image from the Stampin’ Up! Ice Cream Swirl Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using the Ice Cream Swirl Dies. I adhered the cherry and sprinkles to the ice cream using Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Real Red Ink. I cut the sentiment into a banner using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the ice cream image from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Real Red Ink on top of the swirl image. I adhered a strip of Most Adored DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Coastal Cabana mat then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the ice cream image from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ini on the envelope front, stamping off on scrap paper once. I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on top of the swirl image. I adhered a panel of Most Adored DSP to the envelope flap.
