Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Triple Time

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re already halfway through the week and on the downhill to the weekend.

I was super excited to be asked to be a Featured Stamper for The Color Throwdown Challenge #759 today. Here’s my card for the challenge.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper for my card today. I did the Triple Time Technique for my card with the challenge colors. Would you like to see a quick video on how I made this card? You can see it Here on my Instagram reels.

Here are the colors I was given to work with for my card.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Versamark Ink on the top of the smallest panel of Very Vanilla. I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool.

I adhered the 3 panels of Very Vanilla together lightly using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal and patting it on my pants, so it wasn’t super sticky. I randomly stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Inks. I stamped the leaf veins from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink over the coordinating leaf images. I randomly stamped the splatter image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink around the leaves. I adhered the 2 smaller stamped panels of Very Vanilla to coordinating Cherry Cobbler mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the larger card front panel, lining up the leaves, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Gold & Very Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edged Ribbon around the layered panels and tied a bow. I adhered the layered card front to the Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut 2 of the small oak leaves using the Autumn Leaves Dies from a panel of Distressed Gold Paper. I adhered the leaves to the card front just under the bow using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I stamped the leaf images from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Inks on the sides of the panel. I stamped the leaf veins from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink over the coordinating stamped leaves. I stamped the splatter image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Pecan pie Ink around the leaves. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I randomly stamped the leaf images from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Inks on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the leaf veins from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink over the coordinating stamped leaves. I stamped the splatter image from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink around the leaves.

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going as planned. I’ll be at the dog bakery today. I found out on Friday that there is a sidewalk sale going on in town today, so I’m guessing it’s going to be a little busy, which will make the day fly by. Who wouldn’t want to come out with their pups for some treats and to take advantage of $50 coats marked down to $5, $10 & $15. This is the first Sunday I’ve worked in a while and I’m really looking forward to it.

Today’s card colors have a little story. Have you ever been driving or walking, and you see something and immediately put Stampin’ Up! colors to it? I do all the time. That’s kind of when I knew I needed to be a demonstrator. Anyway, last week my daughter and I were driving home on a usual street we drive on. There was this house that I’m guessing must’ve just gotten painted a short time ago since I’ve never noticed it before. I slowed down and said to her “I have to make a card with those colors”! The house is Misty Moonlight with Very Vanilla trim and a Cajun Craze door. I thought about taking a picture, but I don’t know the people that own the house. Here’s my card using those colors. Let me know what you think and if you have ever done this before.

Sales Tax Holiday Going On!!!

How my shares work: I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list. I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can! Good Monday morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Were you able to enjoy some time outside? I was in all weekend, between working, the storms and the heat & humidity, I wanted nothing to do with outside. I did have to take Coraline for multiple walks though. For some reason when I’m home, she seems to need me to take her out walking every couple hours. When she’s home with my husband and daughter she sleeps all day.

I have a quick card for you today that could be a wedding card, an anniversary card, a birthday card or anything else you want to celebrate with someone. Here’s my card for today.

On panels of Basic White, I stamped 2 leaf images and the flower image from the Layering Leaves stamp set 2 times each in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images out using the Bough Punch. I stamped the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I cut the sentiment out using the 2″ Circle Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves and flowers under the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Gue. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Layereing Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered the 2nd set of leaves and flowers to the bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf and flower images from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves CAS

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. I hope you week is starting out productive. After work yesterday I was able to get a little more gardening done. I had to try to get a larger cage on my tomato plant. My cherry tomato grew out of the one I had around it. I ended up building my own around it with stakes and string, it was too large to get the cage on. I also cut down a tree that didn’t make it after the drought we had last summer. I tried keeping up with the watering, but it needed natures rain which we didn’t get.

While I was outside, I got inspired by one of my gardens. I have these tiny orange flowers that have taken over a few of my gardens. They are so pretty and attract butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. I’ve seen the butterflies and many bees so far. The one garden that has a lot of these also has red and yellow tiger lilies. That’s the garden my card colors were inspired by. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today using Stamps, Ink and Paper, I did have to add a little embellishment though.

I joined in with the CAS On Friday Challenge #259 – Leaves.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White card front.

I randomly stamped the leaves and splotch images from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Inks around the edges of the card front. I adhered the card front to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Glossy Dots to the card front.
