Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker

Good Saturday morning stamping friends, welcome to the weekend and Happy New Year’s Eves Eve. Hard to believe that another year has come to an end. Is anyone starting to make plans? We’ll be staying in as usual. My husband was supposed to have some friends over, but my daughter has covid so no visitors here. I’ll be working all day today and I have to go in tomorrow morning to close out for the month and year.

Since I missed yesterday’s fun fold Friday, I thought I would make kind of a fun fold. I actually lost track of the days this week and thought Wednesday was Tuesday and forgot to do my live. The holidays tend to do that to me sometimes, especially when it falls on a Monday. If you’d like to see a quick video on how I made my card today, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches Cling Stamp Set (available January4), along with the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set, Deckled Circles Dies, Best Label Punch and the Sale-a-bration Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper for my card today. This DSP will be available free with a qualifying order of $50 or more starting January 4th.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by cutting a panel of Misty Moonlight using the 2nd largest die from the Deckled Circles Dies. I scored the circle in half and folded it to make the card base. I cut a panel of Flight & Airy DSP using the 3rd largest Deckled Circles Dies and cut the circle in half using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered the cut panels of the DSP to the front and back of the Misty Moonlight card base using Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered another panel of Flight & Airy DSP to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the top of the card base using Liquid Glue, making sure to put the panel low enough so it would fit in the envelope. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the bird image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I colored the bird in using my Early Espresso Watercolor Pencils. I fussy cut the bird using Paper Snips. I adhered the bird to the top section of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a small piece of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I punched the sentiment out using the Best Label Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Tinsel Gems Three Pack to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

For the inside, I cut a panel of Basic White using the 3rd largest Deckled Circles Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I stamped the cross-hash image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on either side of the sentiment. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base.

Stampin' Up! Inspirational Sketches Rocker 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bird image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image with my Early Espresso Watercolor Pencils. I adhered a panel of Flight & Airy DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card, and this set and DSP are on your wish list for the upcoming catalog starting in January.  Happy Stamping!!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

It’s a sample of each of the new Designer Series Papers and the Ribbon from the Stampin’ Up! January-April 2024 Minil Catalog.  If you were to purchase all of the DSP and Ribbon in the new Mini Catalog, it would cost you over $141.00 plus shipping.

I’m offering a Designer Series Paper share from the Stampin’ Up! January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and I’d love to have you join!!  I’m placing my share order early on January 4th. How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the NameItem # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!  Shares give you a good working sample of all of the papers so that you can decide which ones to order in full packs!

New Designer Series Paper Share – $15.00 plus $8.50 for Priority Mail shipping

You will receive one 6×6 sheet of each design from the following DSP packs (the number after the name indicates how many 6×6 sheets of that paper pack you will receive):

  • Light Than Air 6″ X 6″ – 8
  • Nature’s Sweetest – 6

As a Thank you gift for joining in on my paper share, I will be including a sampling of some of the new Sale-a-bration DSP that will be available with qualifying orders. I believe there are 5 different DSPs in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I’m not sure yet which ones I’ll be including, it might be 1, 3 or all 5.

Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Thank You

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading to the weekend. This month is just flying by. Did anyone else hear Christmas music yesterday? I thought I was imaging it, but it was officially Christmas in July and my radio in the morning was playing Christmas music.

Today I have a super quick card for you. I pulled out a set I haven’t played with in a while and paired it up with some DSP and I was done. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp Set and Best Label Punch for today’s card.

I played along with Sunday Stamps Be Bold Challenge #314.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a Delightfully Eclectic DSP card front to a Copper Clay card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment using the Alphabest stamp set in Copper Clay Ink. I cut all the letters out using the Best Label Punch.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the medium outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on either side of the sentiment. I stamped the daisy center in Crushed Curry Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the inside of the Copper Clay card base.

Stampin' Up! Alphabest Thank You 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the medium outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the daisy centers in Crushed Curry Ink. I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Hippest Hippos Fun Fold with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Has anyone made any plans for the weekend yet? I’ll be working all day tomorrow and Sunday again.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Hippest Hippos Cling Stamp Set along with the Sale-a-bration Hippo Dies, Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Bundle and the Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Solid lines are score lines, dashed lines are cut lines

I started by scoring a Petal Pink card base at 1″, 2″, 3″, 5 1/4″, 6 1/4″ & 7 1/4″ along the 8 1/4″ side. I turned the panel so the 5 1/2″ side was along the edge of my trimmer and set the 8 1/4″ edge at the 1″ mark. I cut from the 1″ score line to the 3″ score line and then from the 5 1/4″ score line to the 7 1/4″ score line. I moved the card base to the 2″ line on my trimmer and repeated the cuts. I turned the cardstock around so the other 8 1/4″ edge was at the 1″ mark on my trimmer and cut the same on that side at the 1′ & 2″ marks. I folded the card base as above with the mountain and valley folds.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the Subtle DSP panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Pool Party cardstock using the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies and embossed it using the Into The Clouds Embossing Folder. From a panel of Rose Gold Specialty Paper I cut the bucket die from the Hippo Dies. I cut the top of the umbrella and hat die from the Hippo Dies from scraps of the Soft Sea Foam Subtle DSP.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the ballerina hippo image from the Hippest Hippos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Flirty Flamingo, Gray Granite and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using the Hippo Dies. I also cut out the umbrella die from the panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the umbrella top to the Basic White umbrella using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a scrap of Petal Pink Subtle DSP, I stamped the tutu part of the hippo image and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips. I adhered the tutu to the hippo image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the hippo to the Pool Party panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the bucket below the hippo using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the hat to the hippo using a Stampin’ Dimensional. I adhered the Pool Party panel to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the umbrella to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the background image from the Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam Ink. I stamped the letters and #1 from the Alphabest stamp set on the background images in Gray Granite Ink. I punched the letters out using the Best Label Punch. I adhered the letters to the side panel of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the #1 to the hippos hand using a Stampin’ Dimensional. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the back of the card base, I adhered the panels of Subtle DSP to the sides and top of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Hippest Hippos on the top of the panel in Gray Granite Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink below the 1st sentiment. I stamped the hippo image from the Hippest Hippos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Gray Granite and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat and then to the back of the card base. I added a few more of the Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins to the card back.

Stampin' Up! Hippest Hippos 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the ballerina hippo image from the Hippest Hippos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Subtle DSP to the envelope flap.
