Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. What kind of plans do you all have for the weekend? I’ll be working today, and I believe by the time I get home from work; my husband will have gone to cut our tree and have it set up and ready to decorate. I feel like we’re a little late this year with getting the tree. All I’ll have to do is jump up into the attic to get everything out. I finally decorated my card studio and put up my small 4 1/2′ tree. We set up multiple trees in our house, the smaller trees are in the bedrooms or my studio, and the main tree is in the living room.

Today’s card is one that we made last Sunday at our quarterly meeting. this card was designed by my wonderful team member Tara Carpenter. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Creative Haven Stamp Set along with the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shapes Dies, 2 3/8″ Circle Punch and Stampin’ Up! Delicate Framing Stamp Set for my card today.

Adhere 2 panels of Hobby Haven DSP to the Basic Gray card base.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Creative Haven stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. Using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, cut the sentiment out. Using the 2nd largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a panel of Pool Party. Adhere the sentiment to the die cut circle.

Adhere a piece of Linen Thread to the card front. Adhere the layered sentiment over the Linen Thread with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Dear Dots to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Delicate Framing stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. Adhere a panel of Hobby Haven DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere one of the die cut images from the Hobby Haven DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Pool Party mat then to the inside of the Basic Gray card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Adhere a strip of the Hobby Haven DSP to the envelope front and panel to the envelope flap.

Adhere the layered panel to a Gray Granite card base with Stampin’ Seal.

Adhere the die cut DSP square to the Gray Granite mats with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panels to the die cut Early Espresso with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the 2 layered squares to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week and the last day of March! How was everyone’s weekend? Saturday night I went to a fund raiser and ended up winning 2 tickets to a Red Bulls Game. Soccer has been a big thing in my house for years, since my son started playing when he was 5 (he’ll be 30 in June). I spent most of yesterday working in my living room doing some spring cleaning. I find I’m much more productive if I work on 1 room at a time rather than my normal jumping from room to room.

Add a few Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days to the card front.

Adhere a panel of Mediterranean Blooms DSP to a Highland Heather card base using Liquid Glue. Cut the 3rd largest die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies and the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch from one of the panels of Basic White.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the leaf image and the small flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Memorable Blooms Cling Stamp Set 2 times each in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the images using Highland Heather and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the images out using the Memorable Blooms Dies. From a panel of Shy Shamrock, cut the leaf die cut from the Memorable Blooms Dies 2 times. On the 2 3/8″ Circle stamp the leaf image from the Memorable Blooms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the image using Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the stamped circle to the die cut circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a couple more snipped leaves under the circle using Glue Dots. On a strip of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Memorable Blooms stamp set in Highland Heather Ink. Cut the ends of the sentiment on an angle using Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the card front.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on the downhill to the weekend. Monday, we started a renovation project in my house. We’re having our bathroom redone. The partial demolition was Monday, yesterday was plumbing and today starts the rip out of the floor and replacing the Sheetrock. Our hope is that my husband will be able to paint this weekend, pending on him deciding on the final color LOL, then next week the new floor will go in and hopefully my husband has remembered to order the new vanity.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you are all have some plans in the works. I’ll be working all day today and I’m hoping to start the Christmas decorating process a little tomorrow. Yesterday and last night I was able to completely un-decorate my house. Those of you that know me, know that I pack everything away for the holidays from Knick Knacks to pictures and pillows. I rearrange furniture and move some out of the room to fit my Christmas decorations and tree. My house is like walking into Christmas land.

Today’s card was designed by Karen Ilsley for our retreat last weekend. It’s such a beautiful Christmas card and I couldn’t wait to make it. Here’s my card for today.

Emboss a panel of Mossy Meadow using the Distressed Tile EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Very Vanilla card base using Liquid Glue. Adhere a strip of Garden Green to the side of the embossed panel using Liquid Glue. Adhere a panel of Season of Green & Gold DSP to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut panels of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow with the square dies. Adhere them together using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere them to the card front using Liquid Glue on the left side and Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right side. On a panel of Soft Sea Foam, stamp the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Using the 2 3/8″ Punch, cut a circle from a panel of Brushed Gold paper. Adhere the sentiment to the gold mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered sentiment to the die cut squares using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a piece of the Very Vanilla 3/4″ Satin Ribbon using Gold Twisted Thread. Adhere it to the card front using a Glue Dot. Add a few gold Blooming Pearls to the card front.

On a panel of Very Vanilla, stamp the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Adhere a strip of Season of Green & Gold DSP to the side of the panel. Adhere the Very Vanilla panel to an Old Olive mat then to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Triple Z Fold for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. We arrived safely in Georgia yesterday morning for the start of our 4-day crafting retreat. Amy and I picked up Mary’s supplies and headed up to the retreat, Unfortunately, Mary who plans this whole retreat, had to miss it this year. Of course, we were welcomed with open arms and started right in with having a good time. We had a delicious dinner last night to kick off the weekend with chicken, roasted zucchini and broccoli and an amazing carrot soufflé. Desert was a delicious chocolate fudge cake with black satin raspberry ganache that was made for Tara and me for our birthdays by Judi. Today’s all about crafting, laughing, chatting and eating, and that’s what we’ll be doing for the next 3 days. I look so forward to this weekend away with my friends and team members.

Score and fold the 3 Pretty Peacock card bases as listed in the measurements below.

Adhere the panels of Perennial Lavender DSP to the Pretty Peacock card bases. I listed below which piece goes on which part of the card bases. Adhere the center card base to the large card base with the 4 1/4″ side in the front, about 1/4″ up from the bottom. Adhere the bottom card base with the 5 1/2″ side in the front, to the large card base on top of the center, lining up the bottom edge.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. Stamp the splatter image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink around the circle. Using the Spotlight on Nature Dies, cut the 3 1/4″ circle from a panel of Lost Lagoon. Using the Painted Lavender Dies, cut 2 of the leaf die from a panel of Pretty Peacock and 3 of the flower die from a panel of Highland Heather. Adhere the die cut pieces to the Lost Lagoon Circle. Adhere the sentiment over the die cut pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the layered circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White panel stamp the sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. Stamp the leaf image from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink multiple times on the side of the panel. Adhere a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP to the side of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Highland Heather mat then to the back of the Pretty Peacock card base.

Stampin’ Up! Planted Paradise for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. I used the Stampin’ Up! Planted Paradise Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Bundle, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and Glorious Gingham 6 CX 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by embossing a Pecan Pie card front using the Exposed Brick EF. I adhered the embossed panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Liquid Glue.

I adhered a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the bottom of the card front using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I punched the sentiment out using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch making sure the sentiment was at the top of the circle. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the bottom of the circle. I stamped the plant image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the flowerpot. I adhered 2 strips of Pecan Pie 1/2″ Bordered Ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the circled artwork on top of the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the new Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the strip of DSP. I stamped the plant image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the flowerpot. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Baic White Thick card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the plant image from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the flowerpot. I adhered a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? I hope your weekend plans are working out. It’s supposed to be a little nicer here in NJ today. I’m off and I’ll be attending our monthly meeting via zoom.

Today’s card was one I made a week ago Saturday for World Card Making Day. I attended the virtual Stampin’ Up! event and this was one of the sets they used. I kind of did my own thing with it. I started by adhering a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to an Azure Afternoon mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Lemon Lolly card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I only needed the top of the circle, so I didn’t punch the whole circle. I adhered the half circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scored strip of Azure Afternoon cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink. I cut both ends of the strip using the Banner Pick A Punch. I folded the strip on the score lines and adhered it to my card front over the bottom of the half circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Tinsel Gems Four Pack to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics CAS

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the workweek and on our way to the weekend.

I have another super quick Christmas card for you today where I kind of stepped out of my comfort zone with this one. If you’d like to see a quick video on how I made this card, Click Here for my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shapes Dies and 2 3/8″ Circle Punch for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to a Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered another panel of the Merry Bold & Bright DSP to a Lemon Lime Twist mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adherd the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpsoe Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Classics stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink. I cut the sentiment out with the Stylish Shapes Dies. Using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, I punched a circle from a panel of Lemon Lime Twist. I adhered the sentiment to the Lemon Lime Twist mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Christmas Classics stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the holly image from the Christmas Classics stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink on the sides of the panel. I colored the images in using Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the holly image from the Christmas Classics stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top and side of the envelope front. I colored the images using Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to the envelope flap.

Inkin’ Krew World Card Making Day Event – Saturday, October 7!

Save the date!!  Our team will be hosting a World Card Making Day event again this year!  We’ll be setting up a Facebook page where we’ll be going live and posting videos showing you card projects all day long!
