More Kits And Kit Updates Coming in 2024!!

If you love the kits as much as I do, you’ll be happy to see changes coming to the Kits Collection in 2024! Here are some changes that you’ll see:

• Doubling the yearly offering. Starting January 2024, Stampin’ Up! will release two kits per month in a variety of kit types and styles.
• Discontinuing older kits. As the new kits are introduced, Stampin’ Up! will discontinue older kits.  So pick up any of the older kits that you’d like soon so that you don’t miss out!   
• Removing printed artwork from kit stamp set acetate sheets. Stamps in kits will no longer have printed stamp set acetate sheets. This means the kit artwork will no longer be printed on the stamp acetate sheets.  This change will apply to both the Kits Collection kits and Paper Pumpkin stamp sets.  As a replacement for the printed stamp acetate sheet currently in each stamping kit, Stampin’ Up! will include a separate paper print piece that displays the stamp artwork and stamp name.  This new piece will be a great resource for identifying and storing kit stamps.
  • For Paper Pumpkin, the acetate sheet change will start with the first kit of 2024.
  • For the Kits Collection, the acetate sheet change will start with the first stamping kit release after June 2024.  This will be a rolling change, so kits released before June 2024 may be replenished with stamps that do not have printed acetate sheets.

Good Monday morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? As you could probably tell, I wasn’t here posting for you. I had to work all day Friday and Saturday. Well, it was the 12th day of Christmas and when I got home on Saturday, my husband had started de-Christmasing, so of course that’s what I did all Saturday night. I figured I’d get up early Sunday morning, make a card and get it posted. That didn’t happen either. I did get up early, but I started with just one thing to pack away, about 6 hours later I realized I never got to my studio to make a card. The good thing is that most of Christmas is packed away. All I have left to do is the tree in my card studio and our family room.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature Bundle along with the Perennial Postage Dies and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #617

My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #774.

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the Timeworn Type EF. On a panel of Very Vanilla, I stamped the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature Cling Stamp Set in Boho Blue Ink, stamping off on scrap paper once, along the bottom portion of the panel. I cut 3 rectangles using the2nd largest of the smaller dies from the Perennial Postage Dies.

On the same panel of Very Vanilla, I stamped the leaf and floral images from the Notes of Nature stamp set in Old Olive Ink. I cut the images out using the Notes of Nature Dies. On another panel of Very Vanilla, I stamped the sentiment from the Notes of Nature stamp set in Boho Blue Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using Paper Snips. From a panel of Old Olive, I cut the leaf images using the Notes of Nature Dies.

I adhered the die cut stamped images to the rectangles using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves behind the stamped images using Liquid Glue. I adhered the rectangles to the embossed card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, around the card front twice and tied a bow. I adhered the card front to a Very Vanilla Thick card base using Liquid Glue. I added an Adhesive-Backed Solid Gem to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Notes of Nature stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I stamped the leaf and floral images from the Notes of Nature stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Boho Blue mat then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf and floral images from the Notes of Nature stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Old Olive Ink.
