Stampin’ Up Love You To Pieces Anniversary Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning everyone and welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month we’re doing “Giving Thanks”.  We can interpret this any way we want – so be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a group of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

For my card today I used the Stampin’ Up Love You To Pieces Bundle.  It’s actually a puzzle that I had to put together after cutting it out.  Take a look.

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I adhered a piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper to the card base using Snail.

I stamped a piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, using the Stampin’ Up Marbled background stamp, in Fresh Fig Ink stamping it off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Love You To Pieces stamp set in the center in Fresh Fig Ink.  Then using the Puzzle Pieces Thinlits Dies, I centered the sentiment with the thinlits die and cut it out using my Big Shot.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I put the puzzle back together on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  I attached Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Pear Pizzazz panel and weaved some Rose Metallic Thread around till I liked how it looked.  I then adhered it to the card base.  I added a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the Puzzle Pieces with the sentiments from the Love You To Pieces stamp set in Fresh Fig Ink.  I stamped the outlined puzzle pieces in the 4 corners with Fresh Fig Ink.  Using Snail I adhered the liner to a Pear Pizzazz cardstock mat.  I adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope on the bottom front with the outlined puzzle pieces.  I adhered a piece of Tranquil Textures DSP to the envelope flap.  This is such a wonderful stamp set, especially if you like doing puzzles.

Stampin’ Up Animal Outings Baby Card

Good Monday morning everyone and Happy Columbus Day.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for another great week.  If you have off today, hope you have some fun plans and enjoy your day.

A friend asked me to make her a Baby Shower card, so I took a break from my holiday cards to make her one.  I used the Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Stamp Set and the Buffalo Check Stamp which I made into a plaid.  Take a look.

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped it using the Buffalo Check stamp in Petal Pink.  Then I turned it into a plaid by adding Pool Party and Highland Heather lines using my Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I saw this technique done by one of our wonderful team members Mary Deatherage from Stamps-N-Lingers.  You can see hers here.

I stamped the Kangaroo from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a small piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored her in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Smoky Slate Stampin’  Blends Markers.  I cut her out using the coordinating Animal Friends Thinlits Dies.  I cut  the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shaped Framelit Dies out of Whisper White cardstock and sponged the edge with Highland Heather Ink.

I attached the Kangaroo to the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I made a banner from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper using my Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the plaid panel using Snail.  I adhered the plaid panel to a Highland Heather mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the center of the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I then adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped the Kangaroo from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping it off 3 times to get a very light image, in the center of the Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Animal Outing stamp set in Highland Heather Ink over the top of the Kangaroo.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the Kangaroo on the bottom front left corner and colored her in the same as I did on the card.  I stamped the Buffalo Check on the envelope flap in Petal Pink Ink.  Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you enjoyed my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping.

Stampin’ Up Softly Falling Spirited Snowmen Holiday Card

Good Friday morning everyone.  We made it through another week.  Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set.  I really love these snowmen images, I think they are so cute.  Take a look.

I started with a piece of Night Of Navy cardstock dusted the bottom with my Embossing Buddy then using my Versamark Ink I stamped the sentiment from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set on the bottom.  I sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, making sure the image was covered and shaking off the excess, then heated it with my Heat Tool.  I ran the panel through my Big Shot using the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I cut 2 pieces of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper then using my Banner Triple Punch I made them into banners. I adhered the thinner one using Snail on top of the thicker one.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered them to the card front panel where I thought I’d like them to be.  Using my Paper Snips I cut off the excess.

I stamped the Snowman image on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored it in using my Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest square from the Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies with my Big Shot.  I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the 4th from the largest Layering Squares Framelits Scallop  using my Big Shot.  I adhered the artwork to the scallop mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and attached it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the snowflakes from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set around the edges.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and adhered it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope by stamping the snowman image on the front left corner and coloring it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a piece of Twinkle Twinkle DSP to the envelope flap.  Hope you enjoyed my card today and you will give it a try.  Thank you for stopping by my blog.  Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Alpine Adventure Holiday Card

Good Thursday morning everyone.  We’re just about through the week.  Hope you are making some fun plans for the weekend.

Today I used the Stampin’ Up Alpine Adventure Photopolymer Bundle to make you another holiday card.  Take a look.

I started with a Mossy Meadow card front and adhered a piece of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper using Snail.  On a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock I used my Embossing Buddy so that the Emboss Powder only sticks to where I stamp with Versamark Ink. I stamped the Let it Snow from the Alpine Adventure stamp set in Versamark Ink on the right side.  I sprinkled some White Stampin’ Emboss Powder over the stamped image then shook off the excess.  Using my Heat Tool I heated up the powder and watched the magic of the powder turn.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered the Cherry Cobbler panel to the top section of the card front.  I cut the Snow Shoes and Sled from the coordinating Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies out of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.  I cut the Holly Leaves from the Thinlits Dies out in Garden Green cardstock.  I cut the Bows from the Thinlits Dies out in Real Red cardstock.  I cut the Snowflakes from the Thinlits Dies out of Shimmery White cardstock.

I attached the Holly and the Bow on the top of the Sled and Snow Shoes using a Mini Glue Dot and added a Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of each Bow. I adhered the Sled and the Snow Shoes to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Snowflakes with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Very Vanilla card base.

On the inside I stamped the Snow Shoes from the Alpine Adventure stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping it off 3 times to get a very light image, on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink over the top of the Snow Shoes.  I adhered the Very Vanilla liner to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I adhered a strip of the Festive Farmhouse DSP to the bottom front of the envelope and a piece of Wood Textures DSP to the envelope flap.  Hope you enjoyed my card today.  Thank you for stopping by my blog.  Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Bring On The Presents Buffalo Check Holiday Card

Good Wednesday morning everyone.  Hope your week is going well.

I’ve got another holiday card for you today.  I used the Stampin’ Up Bring On The Presents Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Buffalo Check Stamp.  These are not your traditional holiday colors, but I wanted to try a new technique that I watched one of my team members do on Sunday night.  She turned the Buffalo Check stamp into plaid.  Mary Deatherage from Stamps – n – Lingers is very creative that way.  You can see her card and video with all the examples here.

Here’s my card for today.

I started with a panel of Mint Macaron cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using my Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered it to the front of my card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped it with the Buffalo Check stamp in Grapefruit Grove Ink using my Stamparatus to make sure I got it straight.  I took my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker and drew the lines down between each row of the check.  I then took my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Marker and drew lines on each side of the check blocks.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Bow image from Bring On The Presents Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the bow in using my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Markers then cut it out with the coordinating All The Presents Thinlits Dies. I stamped the tag from Bring On The Presents stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink and the sentiment from the same set in Mint Macaron.  I cut the tag out with the coordinating thinlit die from the set too.

I tied a piece of Grapefruit Grove colored twine, from the Nature’s Twine pack, to the tag and attached it to the back of the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

I adhered the bow to the package with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the package to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the small bow from Bring On The Presents stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink in the top corner.  I colored it in using my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from  the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the center.  I adhered the inner liner to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped the small bow on the bottom corners of a Medium Whisper White Envelope in Mint Macaron Ink and colored them in with my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Even though these are not traditional holiday colors I had a lot of fun making this plaid present.  The color combinations are endless, give it a try.  Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Spirited Snowmen Holiday Card

Good Tuesday morning everyone.  Hope your week has started out good.

For my card today I used the Stampin’ Up Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set.  I just love the snowmen in this set.  Once again I used my Stampin’ Blends Markers, they make coloring so easy for me.  My card was CASEd from my up-line Jaimie Babarczy.  You can see her card here.  Here’s my card, take a look.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the snowmen image from the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored them in using my Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I dusted the front of the card front with my Embossing Buddy so that the Emboss Powder would only stick to where I stamped with Versamark Ink.  Using my Versamark Ink I stamped the Snowflakes from the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set all over the front of the card.  I sprinkled the card front with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder making sure all the snowflakes were covered.  I shook off the excess Emboss Powder then heated it with my Heat Tool and watched the magic happen.  Unfortunately it’s hard to see the white snowflakes on the white cardstock.

I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside panel I stamped the Holly & Berry from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the top corners and colored them in using my Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center.  I adhered the liner to a Pool Party mat using Snail and adhered it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish off my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope by stamping the same snowmen in the lower left corner and colored them in the same as I did on the card front.  This was a super fun and easy card. I hope you will give it a try.  Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Happy Stamping!

My card for today uses the Fabulous Flamingo Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I played along with 2 challenges with this card.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps 188.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see the beautiful cards everyone has made and to play along too!

Here is the fun color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see the beautiful cards made and to play along.

Here is my take on the 2 challenges.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card front and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder using my Big Shot.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered it to the front of the Gorgeous Grape card base.

I then stamped the Flamingo from the Fabulous Flamingo Photopolymer stamp set on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the 1st part using Flirty Flamingo Ink, full strength.  I then stamped the next part of the Flamingo using Flirty Flamingo Ink again, but I stamped off once to get the lighter pink color.  I stamped the outline of the Flamingo in Night of Navy Ink stamping off once to give it a softer look.  I stamped the water on the bottom from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set in Night of Navy stamping off once.  I stamped the palms from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set around the top and sides of the paper in Shaded Spruce Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink stamping both colors off twice.  I adhered the artwork to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Florish Thinlits Dies I cut the border piece out of a scrap of Night of Navy cardstock.  I cut a thin piece of Night of Navy cardstock and adhered it to the border piece using Tear & Tape Adhesive.  I wrapped a piece of Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine around the border and tied a small bow.  I adhered it to the card front at the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the Palms all around the inner liner in Shaded Spruce Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink stamping each color off twice.  I stamped the sentiment from the Postcard Pals stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center.  I adhered the inner liner to a mat of Flirty Flamingo cardstock using Snail, then adhered it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish off my card I stamped the Palms all around a Medium Whisper White Envelope in Shaded Spruce Ink and Granny Apple Green Ink stamping both inks off twice.  Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you will give this card a try.  Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Peekaboo Birthday Card

Good Friday morning everyone.  Hope you had a successful week and are making some fun plans for the weekend ahead.

For today’s card I used the Animal Outing stamp set again.  I just can’t get enough of these adorable animals.  I made this one into a peekaboo card.  Take a look.

I started by taking the Petal Pink card base, a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock and a piece of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper.  I layered the 3 pieces together and using the 5th Layering Circles Framelits Dies I cut through all 3 layers with my Big Shot.  I then took the Animal Expeditions DSP and using the 6th Layering Circles Framelit Die I centered it around the already cut circle and cut the larger circle with my Big Shot.  I adhered the Animal Expeditions DSP to the Balmy Blue cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue again to the card base.  On a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock I used the 6th Layering Circle Framelit Die and the 7th Layering Circle Scallop Framelit Die together and cut out the frame for the circle.  I adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Rhino image on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock in Soft Suede Ink.  I colored it in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Big Shot I cut the image out with the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies that coordinate with the stamp set.  The Rhino did have a bird sitting on its tusk, I cut that off using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the cupcake image from the Bella and Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the cupcake in using my Highland Heather and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then fussy cut the cupcake out.  I adhered the Rhino to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I attached the cupcake to the top of the Rhino’s tusk using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

I cut a couple of the branches out from the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies in Tranquil Tide cardstock and attached them to the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that they overlapped the circle.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Kitty stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink about 2/3 of the way down on a Whisper White liner.  On a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the branch with the frog image from Animal Outing stamp set twice in Tranquil Tide Ink.  I stamped the giraffe from the same stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I colored the branches with the frog with my Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the giraffe with my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Markers.  I then cut the images out with my Big Shot using the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies.  I cut a couple more branches out in Tranquil Tide cardstock.  I cut the frog off one of the branches and arranged the branches using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the giraffe using Stampin’ Dimensionals above the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White liner to a Tranquil Tide mat using Snail then adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish off my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the giraffe image using Soft Suede Ink and the branch with the frog image using Tranquil Tide Ink on the front of the envelope and colored them in the same way I did on the card.  I adhered a piece of Animal Expedition DSP to the envelope flap.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  Hope you will stop back again soon.

Stampin’ Up Happy Birthday Card

Good Thursday morning everyone.  One more day and we can start our weekend.

I made a very simple card for you today.  I let the Designer Series Paper do most of the work for me.  Take a look.

I started with a Pacific Point card front and adhered a piece of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of Silver Bakers Twine around the left side twice and tied a bow.

Using my Big Shot and the Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies, I cut Happy Birthday out twice, once in Melon Mambo cardstock and once in Pacific Point cardstock.  I adhered the 2 Happy Birthday die cuts together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, off setting them so it looks like a shadow.

I attached them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I always use up my whole sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals even the edges.  I cut very thin strips to attach to the back of the die.  I adhered the card front to a Powder Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals again.  It’s a little hard to see in the photo, but I added 4 Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front.

For the inside I used the sentiment from Birthday Wishes For You stamp set and stamped it in Pacific Point Ink on Whisper White cardstock. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pacific Point mat using Snail.  I then adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope with a piece of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.  This was a super quick and easy card, I hope you will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Rooted In Nature Z-Fold Birthday Card

Good Wednesday morning everyone.  Well, we made it half way through the week.  Hope yours is going well.  I’ve made a fun fold card today for you using the lovely Rooted In Nature stamp set.  Take a look.

I started with a piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock.  To make the Z-Fold I scored an   8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ card base at 4 1/4″ and again at 2 1/8″.  this is how it will look when folded.

On the 2 smaller panels I adhered a piece of Natures Poem Designer Series Paper using Snail.

On a small piece of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the tree trunk image in Soft Suede Ink stamping it off twice.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Rooted In Nature on top of the tree trunk. Using my Layering Squares Framelits Dies I cut the image out with the largest square framelit using my Big Shot.  Then I cut a piece of Tranquil Tide cardstock using the largest Scallop Square Framelit Die, again with my Big Shot.  I adhered the Very Vanilla square to the scallop square using Snail.  I attached the square in the middle of the folded panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the one half.

On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the tree image from the Rooted In Nature stamp set using my Soft Suede and Grapefruit Grove Stampin’ Write Markers.  I then cut the tree out using the Nature’s Roots Framelits Dies with my Big Shot.  I attached the tree using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the trunk and Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the top leaves.

On the inside I lined the card base with another piece of the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the tree trunk again on a small piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off four times to get a very light image.  I stamped the sentiment from Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on top of the tree trunk.  I then sponged the edges using my Sponge Daubers, in Tranquil Tide Ink.  I adhered the small panel to the inside of the card, making sure it was under the card front square so that you can not see it when the card is closed, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish off my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope flap using the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.  Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope that you will give this Z-Fold card a try.  Happy Stamping!
