Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Color Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s colors.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked & Tiled Cling Stamp Set along with the Inked Botanicals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.
Here are our colors for this week.
My design is from The Paper Players Sketch Challenge #650.
I started by adhering a panel of Inked Botanicals DSP to a Lost Lagoon card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I adhered 2 more panels of Inked Botanicals DSP to 2 coordinating Lost Lagoon mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 2 layered panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
On a panel of Lost Lagoon, I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Pool Party Ink. I let the ink dry completely, then stamped the flower image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Versamark Ink over the leaf image. I sprinkled the image with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I cut the image out using the 3rd largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Stampin’; Dimensional and Glue Dot. I added a few Ombre Matte Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the sides of the panel in full strength and stamped off once on scrap paper. I adhered a piece of Inked Botanicals DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pool Party mat then to the inside of the Lost Lagoon card base.
To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set in Pool Party Ink full strength and stamped off once on scrap paper, on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Inked Botanicals DSP to the envelope flap.
