Our Online Zoom Class Registration Ends Tuesday

Tara and I are teaming up to do a Masculine Online Zoom Class on Sunday April 27th featuring the Stampin’ Up! Framed Scenes Bundle. I always seem to struggle with masculine cards, and I know a lot of others do too. We will be making 6 different cards featuring the bundle which is pictured below.

The class will be held on Zoom on Sunday April 27th from 1pm – 5pm ET.

The class fee includes:

• 6 complete Pre-Cut card kits with envelopes so they are ready to mail when you’re done.
• Full pack of Natural Matte Dots
• Full pack of Linen Thread
• Zoom class with complete step by step instructions to complete each card as we go.
• PDF with detailed directions and photos
• A Link to the recorded class after we are done so you can watch it again and make more cards.

When you sign up for the class, you will see that you can add additional items needed to make the cards in the class if you do not already have them. These items are optional to add on, but we will be using the items to create the cards. We are offering the Stampin’ Up! The class will be held on Zoom and anyone in the United States is welcome to purchase the class and join us! If you are unable to join us for the live event, but would still like to participate in the class, we will be recording the session so you can watch the replay any time and make the cards. Cardstock Price Increasing with the 2025 – 2026 Annual Catalog

Stampin’ Up! heard us loud and clear and they are not discontinuing Thick Basic White cardstock in 8-1/2″ x 11″ after all!!  So it won’t be going away!!  YAY!!!!  

In light of steadily increasing production costs, Stampin’ Up! made a few updates to their cardstock offerings.

WHY THE CHANGE?
Over the years, Stampin’ Up! has worked diligently to manage rising costs while balancing high-quality standards and remaining competitive in the market. The costs for raw materials and production have continued to climb, and only a select few mills around the world are qualified to produce our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock, ensuring it meets our color and quality standards.

WHAT’S CHANGING?

• 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock:
  • All single-color cardstock packages will now contain 24 sheets (including Basic White and Very Vanilla).
  • Assortments will contain 20 sheets.
  • Prices will be $14 for both single-color and assortment packs.
  • 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Basic Cardstock will be discontinued, Thick Basic White Cardstock will be available in 12″ x 12″ packs beginning with the new Annual Catalog in early May.
• 12″ x 12″ cardstock:
  • Our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock packages will contain 24 sheets.
  • 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock will be $22.
  • 12″ x 12″ Basic White Thick Cardstock will be $26
  • We’re also expanding our 12″ x 12″ offerings with Two-Tone cardstock available in single-color packages in all colors.
  • We will no longer offer 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock in assortments but will continue to provide 12″ x 12″ Two-Tone assortments that coordinate with our Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheets.
• OTHER PRODUCT UPDATES:
  • Pricing and configuration for our 12″ x 12″ Two-Tone cardstocks and White Willow 12″ x 12″ Cardstock remain unchanged.

NEW Stampin’ Up! Reward Program Coming in Mid-April

Stampin’ Up! will be updating their Reward Program starting April 15th. The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up! has had for many years will be going away in mid-April.  You’ll soon be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!  Here are the basics:

This does mean that my $10 thank you gifts will also be going away on April 15 since I used the host rewards to “purchase” those gifts for everyone.  But since you’ll be earning 10% back in rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! with every order of $20+, you’re going to be able to cash in those rewards for anything that you’d like on any order that you’d like to use them on!

You’ll no longer need to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product like you do with the current Stampin’ Rewards system. 

Starting April 15 at 8 AM MT and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So if you place an order of $50, you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!

You can save your rewards for up to a year!  So you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at at time. 

Additionally, the “host code” will be going away, so beginning April 15, you’ll no longer need to apply my current host code to your order.

What won’t be changing:

  • I will not be able to create and manage customer accounts.  I’ll be able to help you with ordering if you need me.  But because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you can log in at stampinup.com.
• You will need to opt into the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after April 15, you’ll have the option to opt into the new rewards program.  If you choose not to opt in with your first order, you’ll have the option to opt in at any point when you order after that.

Paper Pumpkin Moved!!

Paper Pumpkin accounts will no longer be managed on a separate website at paperpumpkin.com.  It’s all going to merge with the stampinup.com site!

Starting March 11th at 8 AM MT, you’ll only need to log into your Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com to start or manage your Paper Pumpkin subscription! 

Initially you will need to “claim” your paperpumpkin.com account in the subscriptions area of your Stampin’ Up! online store account.  So be sure you know and can access the email that your Paper Pumpkin account is currently under (claiming can occur on or after March 11th).  Then you will have full access to all the editing options.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I can’t believe it’s the middle of March already. I hope you have some fun plans in the works. Thursday afternoon we a group of us headed over to Chico Taco. We had a wonderful lunch while waiting for the first event to start.

Thursday night we got together for a great time having dinner together. Our team enjoys getting together, chatting and laughing until our sides hurt. It was so much fun.

Last night we all enjoyed a great BBQ dinner at Sam Jones before out After-Hours event. Our group took up 3 tables. A lot more laughing and just having fun. Today’s card is one that we made at our Stamping Studio on Tuesday for Mystery stamping. Jaimie gave us measurements of card stock and DSP and talked us through putting the card together. I decided to pull out products from the annual catalog since they tend to get forgotten about with all the new products from the mini catalog and Online Exclusives. I got a bit frazzled when she said to adhere things on an angle, I like my cards straight. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Flower Cart Dies and To Market Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Adhere a panel of To Market DSP to a Garden Green card base using Liquid Glue. Adhere a panel of Pumpkin Pie to the card front on an angle using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere a panel of To Market DSP to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the flowerpot image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. On another panel of Basic White, stamp the leaf image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Garden Green Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink over the leaves. Cut the flower out using the Flower Cart Dies. Adhere the flowers to the top of the flowerpots using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhered the Basic White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Stampin’ Seal. Wrap a piece of Garden Green Linen Thread around the end of the artwork 3 times and tie a bow.

Adhere the layered artwork to the card front on an angle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Flower Cart stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a panel of Basic White. Cut the ends on an angle using Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front and a Tiny Bee Trinket by the flowers.

Stamp the sentiment from the Flower Cart stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere a strip of To Market DSP to the bottom of the panel. Stamp the flowerpot image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the bottom of the panel. Stamp the leaf image from Flower Cart stamp set on top of the flowerpot in Garden Green Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink over the leaves. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish the card. Stamp the flowerpot image from the Flower Cart stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the leaf image in Garden Green Ink and the flowers in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Adhere a panel of To Market DSP to the envelope flap.

Paper Pumpkin is Moving Tomorrow!!

Paper Pumpkin accounts will no longer be managed on a separate website at paperpumpkin.com.  It’s all going to merge with the stampinup.com site!

Starting March 11th at 8 AM MT, you’ll only need to log into your Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com to start or manage your Paper Pumpkin subscription! 

Initially you will need to “claim” your paperpumpkin.com account in the subscriptions area of your Stampin’ Up! online store account.  So be sure you know and can access the email that your Paper Pumpkin account is currently under (claiming can occur on or after March 11th).  Then you will have full access to all the editing options.

WHY THE CHANGE?
Over the years, Stampin’ Up! has worked diligently to manage rising costs while balancing high-quality standards and remaining competitive in the market. The costs for raw materials and production have continued to climb, and only a select few mills around the world are qualified to produce our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock, ensuring it meets our color and quality standards.

WHAT’S CHANGING?

• 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock:
  • All single-color cardstock packages will now contain 24 sheets (including Basic White and Very Vanilla).
  • Assortments will contain 20 sheets.
  • Prices will be $14 for both single-color and assortment packs.
  • 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Basic Cardstock will be discontinued, Thick Basic White Cardstock will be available in 12″ x 12″ packs beginning with the new Annual Catalog in early May.
• 12″ x 12″ cardstock:
  • Our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock packages will contain 24 sheets.
  • 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock will be $22.

Starting March 11th at 8 AM MT, you’ll only need to log into your Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com to start or manage your Paper Pumpkin subscription! 

Initially you will need to “claim” your paperpumpkin.com account in the subscriptions area of your Stampin’ Up! online store account.  So be sure you know and can access the email that your Paper Pumpkin account is currently under (claiming can occur on or after March 11th).  Then you will have full access to all the editing options.

Cardstock Price Increasing with the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog

Stampin’ Up! shared the following update with Demonstrators today:

In light of steadily increasing production costs, we’ve made a few updates to our cardstock offerings.

WHY THE CHANGE?
Over the years, Stampin’ Up! has worked diligently to manage rising costs while balancing high-quality standards and remaining competitive in the market. The costs for raw materials and production have continued to climb, and only a select few mills around the world are qualified to produce our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock, ensuring it meets our color and quality standards.

WHAT’S CHANGING?

• 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock:
  • All single-color cardstock packages will now contain 24 sheets (including Basic White and Very Vanilla).
  • Assortments will contain 20 sheets.
  • Prices will be $14 for both single-color and assortment packs.
  • 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Basic Cardstock will be discontinued, Thick Basic White Cardstock will be available in 12″ x 12″ packs beginning with the new Annual Catalog in early May.
• 12″ x 12″ cardstock:
  • Our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock packages will contain 24 sheets.
  • 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock will be $22.
  • 12″ x 12″ Basic White Thick Cardstock will be $26
  • We’re also expanding our 12″ x 12″ offerings with Two-Tone cardstock available in single-color packages in all colors.
  • We will no longer offer 12″ x 12″ dyed cardstock in assortments but will continue to provide 12″ x 12″ Two-Tone assortments that coordinate with our Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheets.
• OTHER PRODUCT UPDATES:

Tara and I are teaming up to do a Masculine Online Zoom Class on Sunday April 27th featuring the Stampin’ Up! Framed Scenes Bundle. Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the holiday weekend. I hope you all have some plans in the works, and you have long weekends ahead. Being in retail, we don’t close for this one.

Today and tomorrow’s cards go together. On Tuesday we had out Stamping Studio and I ran the mystery stamping part of it. I decided to use the design that I used last Saturday. I changed up the DSP but it’s the same basic design. I used the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love Bundle along with the Storybook Moments 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and Timeless Plaid 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Adhere a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP to a Lost Lagoon mat using Stampin’ Seal. Cut a panel of Storybook Moments DSP using the template from last Saturday. On the 2 triangle panels, adhere the strips of Lost Lagoon to the center cut edges using Liquid Glue. Adhere the 2 panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere the layered panel to a Basic Beige card base using Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the rosemary (2 times) and thyme (once) images from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love Cling Stamp Set in Lost Lagoon Ink. Cut the images out using the Grow With Love Dies. Adhere the 3 die cut images to the top corner where the DSP meets, using Glue Dots. Tie a small bow using the Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon and adhere it over the herbs using a Glue Dot.

On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from the Grow With Love stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Grow With Love Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems to the card front.

On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from the Grow With Love stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. Adhere a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP to the bottom of the panel. Stamp the rosemary and thyme images from the Grow With Love stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. adhere the Basic Beige panel to a Lost Lagoon mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish the card. Stamp the rosemary and thyme images from the Grow With Love stamp set on the envelope front in Lost Lagoon Ink. Adhere a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP to the envelope flap.

Today’s card I played with some new products from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, To The Point Label Punch and Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Everyday Arches Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

Adhere a panel of Floral Delight DSP to a Pecan Pie mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the Peach Pie card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the outline image from the Bright Borders stamp set in Peach Pie Ink. Stamp the sentiment from the Bright Borders stamp set in Old Olive Ink. Cut the outlined sentiment out using the To The Point Label Punch. Adhere a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Satin Ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a panel of Floral Delight DSP to a Pecan Pie mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the right side of the card front using Liquid Glue. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems to the bottom of the panel.

Stamp the sentiment from the Everyday Arches stamp set in Old Olive Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the bar image from the Bright Borders below the sentiment in Peach Pie Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Bright Borders stamp set in Peach Pie Ink on the corners of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Peach Pie card base.

Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the flower image from the Bright Borders stamp set in Peach Pie Ink on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of Floral Delight DSP to the envelope flap.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value.
