Good Sunday morning stamping friends. Well, another retreat in the books and another long weekend of laughing, eating and creating beautiful projects. I’m already looking forward to next year’s retreat getting together with friends, laughing so hard that tears roll down my face and eating all the yummy food that James prepares for us. Yesterday was another day of delicious meals starting with an Omelet Bar, then a Taco Bar for lunch and some delicious Greek Chicken, Roasted Asparagus, Squash Au Gratin and Lemon Greek Potatoes. The night ended with an amazing Chocolate Lava Cake. After all that yummy food, we al sat around in the living room talking and laughing some more. Tara and Janet made dessert drinks for anyone that wanted. The drinks really looked great, but unfortunately, I didn’t have one.

I thought I’d share some of the amazing gifts that I received from my team members/friends. These little gits are just a little something we all do for each other every year. This year I gave everyone a bag full of essentials like Full-Stick Post-It Notes, Hand Cream, Lip Balm (we all seemed to be thinking the same with that one) and LOTS of Chocolate.

Mary & Amy put together this BEAUTIFUL Personalized Canvas Bag for us filled with a pack of Grid Paper, Christmas Greetings Mix & Match Specialty Cards & Envelopes, Dimensionals, Tear &Tape, Road to Christmas Kit, Lip Balm, Ribbon Holder, Liquid Glue and Glue Holder.

Mary gave us all this adorable Halloween Treat Box.

Susan K made us all these beautiful frames. We all started coming to this retreat not really knowing one another and as the frame says, ‘Together we make a Family’. I love getting together with my stamping family, they are truly the BEST!!

Judi made us all this beautiful, framed cross-stitch. I can’t wait to display this in my card studio at home.

Tara put together this cute little canvas bag filled with essentials like Reverse Tweezers, Glue Remover, Ink Remover, Lip Balm and of course snacks.

Susan S made us all these gorgeous Zippered Craft Bag carriers. She is so talented. We each got a different design. Susan S is our fun Brit friend.

Linda put together another essential bag with Socks, Tissues, Lip Balm an Ornament, Peppermint Shea Butter Soap, Band-Aids and of course snacks.

Janet fixed us all little bags filled with Pink Essentials. A Pink Bling Journal, an Ornament, Pink Socks, Pink Bath Balm, Pink Mints, a Lip Balm and Creme Savers.

I also came prepared to make 3 different kinds of Pudding Shots, which everyone has been enjoying. I had help from Tara with those since I couldn’t fly with alcohol, she was nice enough to pick it all up for me.

This was our host, James, that makes this whole retreat possible. He caters to our every need, and we all love him. He’s our personal chef and does everything else around the home for us from cleaning to making sure we have everything and anything at our fingertips

Stampin’ Up! made some announcements today about changes coming to their stamps, stamp and die packaging and Stampin’ Write Markers.  Here are the updates:

Cling Stamp Sets (Red Rubber)

Stampin’ Up! has decided to discontinue their cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials.  While they currently have access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent, and certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured.  They’re choosing to make this change now to ensure a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption.  They will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.

Here are some specifics about the transition from cling stamps to photopolymer:

What’s Happening	When
Photopolymer Transition	Starting with November 2025 Online Exclusives, all new stamps will be photopolymer.
Last Printed Catalogs to Include Cling Stamps	September–December 2025 Mini Catalog and 2025–2026 Annual Catalog
Last Online Exclusives to Include Cling Stamps	September 2025 Online Exclusives
Mini Catalog Cling Transition*	In December 2025, all cling stamps in the September–December 2025 Mini Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the mini catalog will carry over.
Annual Catalog Cling Transition*	In April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the annual catalog will carry over.

Stampin’ Up! Write Markers – Discontinuing and Available While Supplies Last

Stampin’ Up! has also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers.  With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, they’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers.  One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling stamps.

Here are a few details about the Stampin’ Write Markers:

What’s Happening	When
Phasing Out Stampin’ Write Markers	On August 20, 2025, all Stampin’ Write Markers will move to Last Chance Products* and be available while supplies last.

*While we typically only update our Last Chance Products during the first week of even-numbered months, we’re making an exception for this transition.

New Improved Stamp and Die Packaging

As part of Stampin’ Up!’s transition away from cling stamps, Stampin’ Up! is excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies!  Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, they’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space.  Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together (yay!!).  The new packaging is similar to their current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification!  Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Here are a few details about the new packaging:

I’m offering a Designer Series Paper Share, Two-Tone Cardstock Share, Ribbon Share & Embellishment Share from the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog, along with the upcoming September Online Exclusives and I’d love to have you join!!  I’m placing my share order early on September 3rd and I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of September 8th. How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ X 6″ pieces (or 6″ X 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!

Two-Tone Cardstock Share

Have you been wanting to try the Two-Tone Cardstock but didn’t want to buy a whole pack? You can add a share of the 4 different Two-Tone Cardstock packs for an additional $6 or purchase them separately for $6 + $9 Priority Shipping

All ribbons will come individually wrapped and labeled with the name and number of the product.
