Good Sunday morning stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? We had such a great time last night at the baseball game. Lots of socializing, laughter and eating, ending with a great fireworks display. It’s really great how everyone getting together is just like a big family gathering.
Today’s card I played along with a color challenge. I also played with a new set that I just received. I always seem to have a shortage of sentiments when I’m making cards and feel like I use the same ones over and over. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Hope You Know Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Timeless Charm Cling Stamp Set, Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder and Online Exclusive Designer Tags Dies for my card today.
My colors are from the Global Design Project Color Challenge #401.
I started by randomly stamping the leaf images from the Timeless Charm stamp set on a Lemon Lolly card front in Lemon Lolly Ink. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered card front to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a strip of Parakeet Party cardstock on the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I embossed a panel of Bubble Bath cardstock using the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Hope You Know stamp set in Gray Granite Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Designer Tags Dies.
I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Designer Tags Dies, I cut 2 of the leafy pieces from a panel of Parakeet Party. I adhered the die cut pieces under the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Pearls to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hope You Know stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the leaf images from the Timeless Charm stamp set around the sides in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Parakeet Party Inks. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf images from the Timeless Charm stamp set on the envelope front in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Parakeet Party Inks. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to the envelope flap.
