Good Sunday afternoon stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? Are you ready for the big game tonight? I’ll be in my craft studio trying to create some cards. I listen and watch for the commercials mainly, I’m not a big football fan and it’s not my husband’s team playing so it’ll be fairly quiet here.
Today’s card is a quick and easy one using a New Online Exclusive set coming in March and some Sale-a-bration items that are only available until February 29th or while supplies last. I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Sweetly Scripted Cling Stamp Set (available March 5) along with the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Softly Sophisticated Bundle and Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on Basic White card front. I embossed the panel using the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder.
I adhered a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the bottom of the embossed panel using Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of the Sale-a-bration Pool Party 5/8″ Crinkled Ribbon around the panel and tied a bow.
I adhered the layered card front to a Basic White Thick card base using Liquid Glue. I added a few of the Sale-a-bration Opaque Faceted Gems to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticate Photopolymer Stamp Set in gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the leaf image from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the larger flower image from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the leaves. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pool Party mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the flowers from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Petal Pink Ink. I adhered a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the envelope flap.
