Stampin’ Up! Fern & Flora Thanks

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. My niece, daughter and I had a lot of fun last night at the fund raiser. I always enjoy going out and spending time with my niece and daughter.

I have another sneak peek for you today or a card we made at OnStage. I actually finished mine at home since they didn’t give us enough time to finish them there. I can’t wait to get this new DSP, I think it’s my favorite. Here’s my card for today.

I used the New Stampin’ Up! Fern & Flora Bundle along with the Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper for my card today. Both products will be available May 5th. At OnStage, they had all the pieces die cut for us. All we had to do was stamp on the die cut pieces.

Adhere a panel of Moonlit Flora DSP to a Basic White card base. Tear a strip of the Moonlit Floral DSP and adhere it to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on one of the labels on the right side. Adhere the die cut labels next to each other to the card front with the sentiment on the right. Stamp the floral images from the Fern & Flora stamp set on the die cut pieces in Secret Sea Ink. Using the Blender Pens, add Golden Glow Ink to the flowers and Peaceful Pine Ink to the leaves. At one of the stations during our Product Experience at OnStage, we used the Brayer with Golden Glow Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the butterfly image from the Fern & Flora stamp set on the panel and cut it out using the Fern & Flora Dies.

Adhere the die cut fern and leafy dies to the card front. Adhere the floral and butterfly die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a multiloop bow with Linen Thread and adhere it to the card front. Add a few Dewdrops Embellishments to the card front.

Stamp the large fern image from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink to the top and bottom of a Basic White panel. Stamp the butterfly image from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Secret Sea Ink by the fern. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Mossy Meadow mat then to the inside of the Basic White card base.

Decorate a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the large fern image from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Color a panel of the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP using Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Adhere the colored panel to a Basic Black mat on an angle. Adhere the layered panel to a Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add a few Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Adhere the light side of the Secret Sea Tow-Tone cardstock to the front of a Basic White card base. Using the Fern & Flora Dies, cut the flowers from panels of Berry Burst and Golden Glow. Cut the leaf images from panels of Peaceful Pine and Mossy Meadow using the Fern & Flora Dies. Cut the 2 labels from panels of Basic White and Gold Foil Sheet and the flower center from Basic White.

On the light side of the Secret Sea Tow-Tone cardstock, add Secret Sea Ink using the Blending Brush. Using the Blending Brush, add Mossy Meadow Ink to the Mossy Meadow die cuts in the center. Stamp the small leaf image from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Secret Sea Ink all around the edges of the inked panel. Adhere the die cut leaves around the sides of the panel, letting some hang off the edge.

Stamp the sentiment from the Fern & Flora stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on the die cut label. Adhere the Basic White label to the Gold Foil Label. Adhere the layered labels to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the flower pieces together then adhere the flowers to the card front randomly with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Dewdrops Embellishments to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Delicate Whispers stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the floral image from Delicate Whispers stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the image with Copper Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the image out using the Delicate Whispers Dies.

Using the Delicate Whispers Dies, cut the leaf die from a panel of Mossy Meadow, the feathery die from a panel of Secret Sea and the sprig die from a panel of Earthen Toned Metallic Paper. Good snowy Wednesday morning stamping friends. Yup, another 2″ of snow to shovel this morning. At this rate, I’m not going to see my lawn and gardens until May. I hope you are having a good week; we’re already halfway through it and this is the last week of February.

For today’s card I did some dry embossing on Vellum. As a lot of you know, I’m not a fan of orange, but I love Timid Tiger. Here’s my card for today.

Punch the sentiment out using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Punch a mat from a panel of Petal Pink using the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch. Adhere the sentiment to the mat. Adhere the layered sentiment to the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Emboss a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock using the Ladybug Picnic EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic Black card base.

Using the Springtime Scenes Dies, cut panels of Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist with the detailed leaf die. Cut a panel of Garden Green with the solid background circle die. Cut the ladybugs from panels of Basic Black and Real Red. Cut the flowers from Daffodil Delight (for the flower centers) and Pretty in Pink. Adhere the Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green die cuts on the Garden Green die cut. Adhere the Real Red ladybug on top of the Basic Black ladybug body. Adhere the ladybugs to the layered leaf circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the tiny Pretty in Pink Flowers to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and add the Daffodil Delight centers. Adhere the layered artwork to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Springtime Scenes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel of Basic White. Cut the sentiment out using the Springtime Scenes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Ladybug Epoxy Shapes to the card fornt.

Stamp the large leaf image and the ladybug image from the Springtime Scenes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel. Color the images using Granny Apple Green, Basic Black and Rea Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock that was embossed with the Ladybug Picnic EF, to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Real Red mat then to the inside of the Basic Black card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete the card. Stamp the large leaf image and the ladybug image from the Springtime Scenes stamp set on the envelope front. Emboss a panel of Pretty in Pink Two-Tone cardstock using the Ladybug Picnic EF and adhere it to the envelope flap.

Stamp the stem/leaf image from the Paradise Garden stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink 3 times on the Basic White panel. Cut the images out using the Paradise Garden Dies.

Adhere the artwork panel to the front of the small Garden Textures card base. Adhere the small card base to the front panel of the Basic White Thick card base and the back folded panel.

It’s time to cash in those Bonus Coupons (starting February 3), so Tara Carpenter and I are offering a Free Online Zoom Class for February.  We will be creating 6 different Fun Fold cards; we’re hoping to show you how easy some fun folds can be.  This class will be FREE with a $50 purchase from my Online Store.   We will not be sharing the products we are using since the cards we make live will most likely be using new products that will be available in March (a week after the class).

The class requirements:

  • Visit my Online Store and place a $50 or more order before tax and shipping and after coupon codes.
  • Once you have made the purchase, fill out the Google Form HERE and submit.

What you will receive:

  • Zoom class with complete step by step instructions to complete each card as we go.
  • PDF with detailed directions and photos
  • A Link to the recorded class after we are done so you can watch it again and make more cards.

A week before the class I will send you the complete PDF of the cards so you can cut all your cardstock gather your supplies, so you are ready to go.  We will NOT be cutting cardstock or doing any die cutting live since all the cards will be different.  Everyone’s cards will be unique since you will pick which color cardstock and ink you want to use along with the Designer Series Paper, Ribbon & Embellishments for each card.

The class will be held on Sunday February 22nd from 1pm – 4pm Eastern Time via Zoom.  This will allow everyone all over the United States to participate live!  

I will email you the Zoom link to the class a day before the event.
