Stampin’ Up! Special Moment CAS Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Was everyone able to visit with family and friends for Christmas. I worked yesterday and it was like watching paint dry. It always amazes me with retail how it’s busy, busy, busy then it just dies.

I have a clean and simple card today using all Sale-a-bration items. Do you know that Sale-a-bration starts in just 8 days? I’m so excited!!! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of the free items. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper for my card today. Both of these items are free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I punched the sentiment out using my Label Me Fancy Punch and punched the slits on either side of the punched sentiment.

I threaded a piece of the Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Ribbon through the punch and wrapped it around a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP adhering it on the back using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the panel to a Flirty Flaming card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Garden Gems (only available for 1 more week) to the sentiment and the flower centers.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered a strip of the Daffodil Daydream DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Evening Evergreen mat and then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the daffodil image from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the throat of the flower using my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the envelope flap. I realized after I adhered it, that I used the wrong DSP oops.

Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends Merry Christmas Eve and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Will you be spending time with friends or family tomorrow? We’ll be spending the day relaxing just my husband, daughter and me. My son and his girlfriend will be going to her family’s house. My niece and her family will be going to her husband’s family like they always do. So, our plan is to relax, watch Christmas movies, maybe stamp a little and just enjoy the day.

Today I have my simple go to fun fold card, another Z fold using some new product coming in the January-February Sale-a-bration catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Cling Stamp Set along with the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Misty Moonlight card base at 2 3/4″ & 5 1/2″. I folded the card base in half first and then folded the front back along the 2 3/4″ score line.

I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to a Balmy Blue mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image our using my Layering Diorama Dies. I cut the next size larger Layering Diorama Die from a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock and adhered the artwork to it using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left half of the panel. I added a few of the new Pebbles Enamel Shapes on the bottom of the artwork.

On the inside I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Awesome Otter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside left of the card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends, Merry Christmas Eve, Eve! Is everyone just about ready for the big day? I’m not. I have to work all day today and I don’t have 1 gift wrapped. I still have to pick up a gift or 2, which may end up having to wait. The lines in the store were crazy the other day. Now if it’s something I can buy at the dog bakery or the hardware store, then I will get it.

Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created this week. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects. Here is my card using this weeks Sketch.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Cling Stamp Set along with Sale-a-bration items, the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set and Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by cutting the center of a panel of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP using the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die.

I adhered the larger piece of the DSP to a Pale Papaya card base. I took the center piece that I cut out and flipped it over and adhered it to the center of the adhered piece on the card base. Can we just take a moment to look at this gorgeous DSP!!!

On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink, stamping off 3 times on a piece of scrap paper. I colored just the throat of the daffodil using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers. I went over what I colored using the Color Lifter Stampin’ Blend Marker so there was just a very light color. I stamped the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink over the stamped image. I cut the image our using the 4th largest Layering Circle Dies. I adhered a piece of the Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon to the card front and adhered the circle over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink, stamping off 3 times on scrap paper, and colored it the same as I did for the card front. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Basic Black mat and then to the inside of the Pale Papaya card base.

To complete my card I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes Sneak Peek

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. I’m scheduled to work both days at both jobs. I’m just taking it really easy since I’m still not doing well.

I have a sneak peek for you today of some goodies coming in the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. When I first saw this set, I was not going to get it. This was a set that we all received at our OnStage event in November. Even when I received it, I just stood and stared at it wondering what to do. Well, here’s what I did with it for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes Bundle, the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set (a free Sale-a-bration item) along with the Simply Marbleous 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper (a free Sale-a-bration item), for my card today.

My design is from Inspire. Create. Challenge #105.

My colors are from TGIF Challenge #345. I really love these colors together.

I started by cutting a Basic White card front on an angle. I cut 1″ down on the right side to 2″ down on the left side. I stamped the larger image from the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes Cling Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the Basic White card front. I embossed the panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the card front to a panel of the new Marbleous 6 X 6 DSP. I wrapped a piece of the new Misty Moonlight 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon from the Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack, around the panel adhering it in the back. I adhered the card front to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Using the new Amazing Thanks Dies, I cut the bubble letters from a panel of Just Jade cardstock and the detailed letters from a panel of Pool Party cardstock. I adhered the 2 together using tiny amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamping off once, to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Just Jade mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a strip of the Marbleous DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves for Fun Fold Friday.

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be working all day tomorrow and I believe Sunday too.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Love of Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the SAB Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I played along with the Double D Challenge this week. Their theme is ‘LEAVES’.

I started by scoring and folding a Sahara Sand card base at 5 1/2″ & 2 3/4″ to make a Z-Fold card. I adhered 2 smaller panels of the Peaceful Prints DSP to the smaller panels of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I put torn Post-It Notes on the top and bottom of the panel to leave a framed area. I stamped the leaf images from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink multiple times. Using my Blending Brushes I added some Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler Ink to the stamped area until I got the color that I wanted. I stamped the small leaves image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Old Olive Ink randomly around. I removed the sticky notes frame and stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set on the top of the panel in Old Olive Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered artwork to the front panel of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left half.

I cut 2 leaves from a panel of Gold & Rose Gold 6 X 6 Metallic Specialty Paper using my Intricate Leaves Dies. I adhered the leaves to the stamped panel using Glue Dots. I tied a triple bow using Linen Thread and adhered it to the leaves using a Glue Dot. I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set in Old Olive Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf images from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink on the 2 corners. I stamped the small leaf image from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink around the larger leaves. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure it’s lined up behind the front panel.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaves from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Inks on the envelope front along with the splotch image in Crushed Curry. I adhered a panel of Peaceful Prints DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. I hope we all can take a moment of silence today to remember those that lost their lives and lost loved ones 20 years ago. I can remember exactly where I was and what I was doing before I was glued to the television watching what was happening to us. It’s truly something that will never be forgotten. For me it was less than an hour away from my home and I can admit about how really scared I was. I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. It’s suppose to be a gorgeous one here in NJ. I’ll be working today, but I have tomorrow off, YAY!!

I started by scoring and folding a 12″ X 5 1/4″ panel of the Penguin Playmates DSP at 4″ and 8″. On the first score line at 4″ I cut from the top of the score line to the bottom left outside corner creating the triangle. I added a very thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the bottom edge of the triangle and adhered it to the center.

I adhered the folded DSP to a Misty Moonlight panel using Multipurpose Liquid Gluemaking sure the triangle panel is in the front.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a length of the Misty Moonlight & Silver Bakers Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered sentiment over the twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the In Your Words stamp set to a panel of Basic White cardstock in Misty Moonlight Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Penguin Playmates DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How was your long weekend? It’s back to work today, but it will be a nice short week.

For today’s card I used some of the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order. Here’s my card for today.

I used the adorable Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Sale-a-bration Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper for my card today. This DSP can be earned FREE with a qualifying order.

I started with 2 panels of Penguin Playmates DSP and cut them both on a diagonal using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered both panels to a Misty Moonlight card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a strip of Basic White cardstock between the DSP panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and trimmed the excess using my Paper Snips.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiments from the Penguin Place stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to a Fresh Freesia mat using Stampin’ Seal and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a small bow using the White 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Blue Adhesive Backed Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Penguin Place stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the penguin image from the Penguin Place stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the bow tie and hat images from the Penguin Place stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink and the beak in Pumpkin Pie Ink.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the penguin image from the Penguin Place stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the inside of the card. I adhered a panel of the Penguin Playmates DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dahlias

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Happy September!!! I can’t believe another month is gone. My daughter starts in person school today again, YAY!!! That means I get to start running her to the train station 3 mornings a week to catch a 7:30am train. She’s happy to be going back in person and to meet up with the friends she’s met online from her classes from the last couple semesters.

For today’s card I used one of my favorite Sale-a-bration sets that’s available right now. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dahlias Sale-a-bration Photopolymer Stamp Set along with Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper for today’s card.

My design is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #264.

I started by randomly stamping the large dahlia image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the leaf image from the Delicate Dahlia stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink around the dahlia images using the Masking Technique. I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the artwork to a Soft Succulent mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered 2 panels of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock using Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a piece of 1/2″ Pale Papaya Woven Ribbon around the panel, adhering it to the back using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Succulent card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink. On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the small flower image from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink and fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the flower to the end of the sentiment using a Stampin’ Dimensional. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the dahlia image from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink by the dahlia image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pale Papaya mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Soft Succulent card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basie White Medium Envelope. I stamped the dahlia image from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on the envelope front and the leaf image in Soft Succulent Ink. I adhered a panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep CAS Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? I hope you are having a productive one.

I have a simple stamping card for you today using the masking technique. Masking is where you cover up a stamped image and stamp something over it to look like it is behind the 1st image. I used a sticky note to do my masking, which I stamp the image on and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep Cling Stamp Set from the Sale-a-bration catalog for my card today

I played along with As You See It Challenge #236.

I also played along with CASology Challenge # 394 ‘MASK’

I started by stamping the 1st sheep from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White card front. I masked the image with my sticky note and stamped the 2nd sheep image from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I masked that sheep also using my stick note and stamped the 3rd sheep in Tuxedo Black Ink. I masked the last sheep with my sticky note and using my Blending Brush I added Balmy Blue Ink to the top of the panel. Once I had the amount of color that I wanted I used my Blending Brush and added Granny Apple Green Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the grass image from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Granny Apple Green Ink, over the brushed Granny Apple Green.

I colored the sheep using my Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panels to a Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped 2 of the sheep images from the Counting Sheep SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the grass image in Granny Apple Green Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the sheep in using my Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the sheep images from the Counting Sheep stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of the Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dahlias Thank You

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you were able to do something fun. We’re in the middle of August already, I feel like it just started.

I have another quick and easy card for you today using the basics, just Stamps, Ink and Paper. Every once in a while I like to make it simple. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Dahlias Sale-a-bration Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #655.

I started by stamping the dahlia image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White card front. I masked the image by stamping the dahlia on a sticky note and fussy cutting it and placing it over the stamped image. I stamped the leaf image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the leave fill image over the outline image in Mint Macaron Ink.

I stamped the dahlia image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set 2 more times on either side of the masked image. I removed the sticky not and stamped the dahlia fill image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Polished Pink Ink over the outline image.

I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the top of the card front. I adhered the card front to a Polished Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Smoky Slate card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the outline dahlia and leaf images from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaf fill image in Mint Macaron Ink and the dahlia fill image in Polished Pink Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Polished Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the dahlia and leaf image from the Delicate Dahlias SAB stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the leaf fill image in Mint Macaron Ink and the dahlia fill image in Polished Pink Ink. I adhered a panel of the 2021-2023 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
