Stampin’ Up! Rustic Centerpiece Tower Fold

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday!! Are you getting ready for the weekend? I was finally able to get outside and do some weeding and dead heading to my flowers yesterday. I spent about 5 hours outside and only made a small dent. I decided it was time to call it quits when it was 85 with a real feel of 100, and it was going up to over 90. This morning I’m heading out really early again to do the same in my backyard gardens. It’s supposed to be in the upper 90’s today. Hopefully I won’t be out there as long.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Centerpiece Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Pattern of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set, Country Woods Designer Series Paper and Textured Notes Dies for my card today.

I got this template from Mary Deatherage which made assembling the card super easy.

Score and fold the Gray Granite card base at 1″, 2″, 3″ & 4″. Add the 3 panels of Country Woods DSP to the center 3 sections. Add Tear & Tape on the 1st scored section (see the image above). Adhere the panel of Country Woods DSP to the larger section of the card base. Adhere the first section to the back panel making a cube.

Stamp the succulent image from the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink towards the bottom of the Basic White panel. Color the image with Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the sentiment from Pattern of Friendship stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on the top of the panel.

Using the 2nd largest Textured Notes Dies, cut a panel of Gray Granite. Adhere the artwork to the center of the die cut panel. Adhere the layered panel to the tower section of the card base using adhesive only on a small section on the back left of the panel. Add a few Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Pattern of Friendship stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the back of the card base.

Finish your card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the succulent image from the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Color the image with Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the envelope flap.

Emboss a Basic White panel using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder. Using the Blending Brushes, add Summer Splash Ink to the bottom of the panel. On the top portion, add Lemon Lolly, fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Inks with the Blending Brushes. Adhere the colored embossed panel to a Highland Heather card base.

Adhere a looped piece of 1/4″ Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim to the card front with a Glue Dot. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon. Add a few Low-Profile Sparkle Dots to the card front.

Ink up the solid per image from the Perfectly Pears stamp set using Blending Brushes, with Darling Duckling and Petal Pink Inks and stamp over the outlined image. Randomly stamp the splatter image from the Perfectly Pears stamp set in Darling Duckling and Petal Pink Inks around the pear and sentiment. Adhere the Basic White panel to an Old Olive mat then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base.

Together Let’s Raise Some Money for the Floods in Texas from July 4th

As of last night, July 14th, we’re at $170 of the $500 to be donated. We can Do this!!!

We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by the flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas on July 4th.  It’s beyond horrible.  Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I’m coming to you for HELP! So…I’m going to do a fundraiser that’ll start right now.  I’ve selected Mercury One as the recipient of our donation. 

Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds. Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. Happy middle of July. This month is just flying by. How is everyone doing today? My area of NJ was under water with flash floods last night from all the rain. Even our major highways were flooded. We were ok by my house.

I played with one of my favorite packs of DSP for today’s card. I love the subtles so much. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pattern of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Paper Tags Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

Stamp the sentiment from the Pattern of Friendship stamp set on the panel of Wildflower Birthday DSP in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Adhere the embossed panel to the top of the Pretty in Pink panel with Stampin’ Seal.

Cut the panel of Wildflower Birthday DSP down 2″ from the center top. Fold from the cut line to the corners to fan it open. Adhere the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue. Wrap a piece of 3/8″ Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon around the layered panel and tie a bow. Adhere the layered panel to a Soft Sea Foam card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Good Monday morning stamping friends, welcome to a new week. How was your weekend? I got outside for a little while yesterday, deadheading some of my flowers, picking tomatoes and getting the stakes in my tomato plants. They are really taking off and some of them are very top heavy with tomatoes.

Together Let’s Raise Some Money for the Floods in Texas from July 4th

We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by the flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas on July 4th.  It’s beyond horrible.  Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I’m coming to you for HELP! Adhere a panel of Mossy Meadow to a Fresh Freesia card base with Stampin’ Seal. Score the 3 1/4″ x 5″ panel of Basic Beige at 1″ on the top and fold. Adhere the folded panel to the back of the Basic Beige panel with Stampin’ Seal.

Fold the flap down and adhere the center panel to the card flap with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the Basic Beige layered panel to the Mossy Meadow mat with Liquid Glue.

On the small panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from Year of Flowers stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a Linen Thread double bow and adhere it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot. Add a Muted Palette Dot to the sentiment.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. How is your week going? I hope you are having a good one so far and it’s not too hot where you are. It’s been very steamy here in NJ with what feels like 1000% humidity.

I played with my favorite embossing folder for a supper quick and easy card today. I really like when either an embossing folder or DSP does most of the work for you with a card. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful Cling Stamp Set along with the Textured Notes Dies and Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

Cut the center out of a panel of Petunia Pop with the 3rd largest Textured Notes Dies. Put the panel back together and emboss the panel with the Sunflower EF.

Adhere the outside frame of the embossed panel to a Thick Basic White card base with Liquid Glue. For the center panel, swipe the White Craft Ink across the panel highlighting the raised image. Adhere the inked panel to a Basic White mat with Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the center of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from Label Me Grateful stamp set in Petunia Pop Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere a piece of Petunia Pop 1/4″ Iridescent Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from Label Me Grateful stamp set in Petunia Pop Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere 2 strips of Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper to the sides of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Petunia Pop mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick Card base.
