Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend.

Using Post-it Note Tape, mask off all 4 sides of the Basic Beige card front panel. Using the Blending Brush, add Basic Beige Ink to the center of the card front. Remove the Post-it Note tape.

Together Let’s Raise Some Money for the Floods in Texas from July 4th

As of last night, July 14th, we’re at $170 of the $500 to be donated. We can Do this!!!

We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by the flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas on July 4th.  It’s beyond horrible.  Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I’m coming to you for HELP! Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Birthday

Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend!! I hope you have some plans in the works for the weekend. It’s supposed to be a beautiful one here in NJ. Last I looked there’s no rain in the forecast, 1st time in a few weeks.

I have a quick card for you today using some older products that I haven’t played with in a while. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Artistic Dies, Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder, Stargazing Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the bottom of a Basic White card front. I embossed the panel using the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. From a panel of Basic White, I cut the largest Die from the Artistic Dies. I adhered the floral die to a panel of Stargazing DSP.

I adhered the layered die panel to the top of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems Four Pack to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the large detail glower from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the large solid flower from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, over the detailed image. I stamped the leaves from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set around the flower in Lemon Lime Twist Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the large detail flower from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the leaves from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink. I adhered a panel of Stargazing DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Masculine Birthday

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. How is your weekend going? What kind of plans do you have for today? I’ll be organizing my new craft room most of the day. Luckily, we have water again. There was a big water main break Friday evening here in our town which affected 3 towns. We were without water for a few hours on Friday night, then we got it back with very low pressure (barely enough to wash your face and hands). We were put in the ‘boil all water’ before cooking or drinking conditions. Saturday, we got it back with better pressure, and there was a mandatory outdoor conservation ban issued to reduce water usage due to a loss of pressure caused by a water main break and still boil for at least 1 minute before using it. I’m hoping for that message today that we can go back to normal use. Things always seem to happen on a holiday weekend.

Today’s card was the advanced version of yesterday’s masculine card. I changed the colors up for mine and I had to substitute Embossing Powder for Embossing Paste since I didn’t have any. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Bundle along with the Deckled Rectangle Dies for my card today.

I started by stamping the thin leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Copper Clay Ink on a Copper Clay card front. Using the Translucent Florals Dies, I cut an old, retired panel of cardstock to make a mask cutting 3 leaves from the top and 3 leaves from the bottom. I placed the mask on top of the card front and secured it with Post-It Note Tape. Using my Versamark stamp pad, I patted all around to make sure the ink got on the leaf openings. I removed the mask and sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the card front to a Copper Clay card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the large leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink twice. I cut the images out using the Translucent Florals Dies. I adhered the 2 leaf dies to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Deckled Rectangle Dies lining up the bottom of the sentiment with the die so the bottom and sides are rough edges and the top is straight. I adhered as piece of Copper Clay 3/8″ Textures Ribbon to the bottom back of the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the large leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the thin leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink around the large leaf image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat then to the inside of the Copper Clay card base.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already and at the end of April. This month just flew by for me. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We have a new challenge this week and I just love these colors.  The inspiration photo #194 is Spring Bouquet. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms Cling Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Photopolymer Stamp Set for my Clean and Simple card. I was inspired by the bouquet of flowers in the center of the table and the soft colors.

I started by stamping the larger flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. I masked the image using a Post-It note. I stamped the smaller flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on either side of the larger flower. I masked the small flower and stamped one more of the small flowers. While the masks were on the flowers, I stamped the leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink around the flowers. I stamped the splotch image from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, around the flowers. I removed the masks.

I colored the flowers using the Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Bubble Bath mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Smoky Slate card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the card font.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the large flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set on the bottom of the panel and the smaller flower on the top of the panel. I stamped the leaves in Soft Sea Foam Ink and the splotch in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I colored the flowers using my Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Markers. To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the larger flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the smaller flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope flap. I stamped the leaves from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Sof Sea Foam Ink and the splotch image in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I colored the flower in using my Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun or maybe just took time to relax? I worked all day on Saturday and Sunday I took some time in my craft area.

Today’s card is a super simple Clean and Simple card. My design is from my upline Jaimie. She’s giving us a new sketch challenge each week. Having a sketch sometimes in front of you can make the card process go so much faster. Here’s my card for today.

This is our sketch for the week to work with.

I started by cutting the largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies out of a panel of Masking Paper. I placed the Masking Paper on a Basic White card front. Using my Blending Brush, I added Fresh Freesia Ink only on the inside of the circle. I removed the Masking Paper.

I stamped the floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink around the inked circle image.

I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Fresh Freesia card base.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend.

Today I have a CAS card for you. I pulled out an older set to play with along with my Blending Brushes. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

My colors today are from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #393.

I started by masking off half of a Basic White card front using Post-It Note Tape. Using my Blending Brushes, I added Highland Heather Ink to the top of the panel. I added Coastal Cabana Ink below the Highland Heather and Orchid Oasis on the bottom of the panel. Once I had the depth of color that I wanted I removed the Post-It Note Tape.

I stamped the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I covered the sunflower with a sticky note mask I had cut out and stamped the leaf image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set around the sunflower in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set on the bottom of the card front in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered the card front to a Coastal Cabana mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to an Orchis Oasis card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a small bow using the Orchid Oasis 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in 2 of the corners. I added some Highland Heather and Coastal Cabana ink using my Blending Brushes. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Coastal Cabana mat and then to the inside of the Orchid Oasis card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the large sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and flap. Using my Blending Brushes, I added color to each of the sunflowers.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hideaway

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend.

Today’s card is one that we made last night at our Stamp Camp Card Class. I like to show the ladies some easy techniques when I can, and I’ve always liked the masking technique. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hideaway Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Cling Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic Bundle for my card today.

I started by using the Chic Dies and cutting a panel of Masking Paper. I adhered the die cut Masking Paper to the center of a Basic White card front. I stamped the Tropical Hideaway stamp on the top using Soft Sea Foam Ink and the bottom using Pool Party Ink. I placed the card front, with mask side down to the stamp, on top of the stamp. I placed a piece of scrap paper on top of the stamp & card front and rubbed it using my hand making sure to press to get a good, stamped image. I carefully removed the paper from the stamp making sure to lift it straight up, so it didn’t smear.

Using my Blending Brush, I added some Petal Pink Ink over the die cut mask before removing it. Once I had coverage the way I wanted, I carefully removed the Masking Paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the card front in the masked area. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I wrapped a piece of the Soft Sea Foam 3/8″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the layered panel and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the Tropical Hideaway image on a Basic White panel after stamping off once on scrap paper. It’s a very light image. I stamped the sentiment from Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel. I stamped the seashell image from Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the bottom of the panel, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the shell image from the Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Splendid Day Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Theme Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Theme.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper and the 2022-2024 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here is our theme for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Design A Daydream DSP to a Mint Macaron card base. I adhered a strip of the 2022-2024 In-Color DSP to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the hedgehog image from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I masked the image using the Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper and stamped the tree image from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set over the hedgehog image in tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the butterfly image from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the hedgehogs’ nose. I colored the images using my Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Ivory, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, Soft Suede, Soft Succulent, So Saffron and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image our using the 4th largest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I adhered the image to a Pale Papaya mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems (available July 1st) to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the mushroom and bird images from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the images in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede, So Saffron and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mint Macaron mat and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the hedgehog and butterfly images from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds for Fun Fold Friday with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and Happy Earth Day! I feel the need to plant a tree today. I’d love to plant another one in my backyard, but it must be a flowering one. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How are you all doing today? Are you ready for the weekend? I hope you are making some fun plans. I’ll be working all day tomorrow and I’m pretty sure all-day Sunday too.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds Photopolymer Stamp Set (available May 3rd) along with the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper for my card today.

On a piece of Vellum Paper, I stamped the rose and leaf images from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my Silver Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I flipped the Vellum Paper over to the non-embossed side and colored the images using my Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers (available May 3rd).

I folded my card base on the scored line. I adhered the smaller Basic Gray panel to the back of the top flap using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the panel of Blushing Bride cardstock to the front or the gray panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Vellum panel to the Blushing Bride panel only where the sentiment will be adhered using Stampin’ Seal and a couple Glue Dots on the top under the ribbon.

On the strip of Basic Gray cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the Vellum panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of Sweet Sorbet 1/8″ Metallic Ribbon (available May 3rd) around the top card flap and tied a bow. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

I adhered a panel of Heart & Home DSP to the inside of the Basic Gray card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. I stamped the rose images from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the inside of the card base under the outer flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose images from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the images in using my Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Heart & Home DSP on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness Sneak Peek

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? I had my OnTour event yesterday and it was fun seeing some of the new products being used. I can’t wait for mine to arrive. I’ll be at work all day today having fun petting puppies and giving them treats.

I have a sneak peek for you today. I received a stamp set for attending OnTour and I couldn’t wait to play with it. I made a clean and simple card using just Stamps, Ink and Paper (along with a little embellishment). I also did the masking technique. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness Photopolymer Stamp Set for my CAS card today.

I started by cutting a Post-It Note using the 2nd smallest hexagon die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I adhered the hexagon Post-It Note to the center of a Basic White card front. Using my Blending Brush, I added Blushing Bride Ink

I stamped the leaf image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Just Jade Ink on either side of the hexagon mask. I stamped the floral image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set on the leaf images in Misty Moonlight Ink.

I removed the hexagon Post-It and stamped the sentiment from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I added a few Blushing Bride Adhesive-Backed Hexagons to the card front. I adhered the card front to a Just Jade mat and then to a Misty Moonlight mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Blushing Bride card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Photopolymer Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Just Jade Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set over the leaf image in Misty Moonlight Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral images from the Bottled Happiness stamp set in Just Jade and Misty Moonlight Inks on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalogs Coming Soon!

With the retiring list for the current Annual Catalog being posted Today…that means that the new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog will be here soon!  I got to preview it today and I’m loving what I’m seeing!

Here are the details:

  • I will be ordering the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogs on April 1 for my customers.  I will pack up the catalogs and mail them back out to my customers just as soon as they arrive.  I anticipate that the new catalogs for my customers will begin arriving by mid-April.
  • If you are not a current customer of mine but would like to be and would like to get a copy of the upcoming catalog when I mail them out, simply place an order through my Online Store and you’ll be added to my mailing list!
  • Ordering from the new Annual Catalog starts on May 3, 2022!

Stampin’ Up! New Shipping Fees Beginning April 1

I want to let you know about a change to Stampin’ Up!’s shipping and handling pricing.  Starting April 1, the minimum shipping charge will increase by $1.00, from $6.95 to $7.95—or by one percentage point, from 10% to 11% of the total order amount—whichever is greater.

If you ever use the expedited shipping options, those fees are going up a bit too.  Here are the new fees for expedited shipping:

  • Next Day Upgrade: $38.00 USD ($3.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • 2nd Day Upgrade: $23.00 USD ($3.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • 3 Day Shipping Upgrade: $15.00 USD ($5.00 USD increase from the previous rate)
  • The expedited shipping option rates above are calculated in addition to the standard shipping rate (e.g., the next day shipping option would cost $7.95 USD or 11%—whichever is greater—plus $38.00 USD)

I want to make sure you’re aware of this change, as it impacts both you and me.  Stampin’ Up! has worked to keep the increase as minimal as possible so they can continue bringing you the unique, high-quality, and coordinated paper crafting products that you love.
