Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Masculine Birthday

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. How is your weekend going? What kind of plans do you have for today? I’ll be organizing my new craft room most of the day. Luckily, we have water again. There was a big water main break Friday evening here in our town which affected 3 towns. We were without water for a few hours on Friday night, then we got it back with very low pressure (barely enough to wash your face and hands). We were put in the ‘boil all water’ before cooking or drinking conditions. Saturday, we got it back with better pressure, and there was a mandatory outdoor conservation ban issued to reduce water usage due to a loss of pressure caused by a water main break and still boil for at least 1 minute before using it. I’m hoping for that message today that we can go back to normal use. Things always seem to happen on a holiday weekend.

Today’s card was the advanced version of yesterday’s masculine card. I changed the colors up for mine and I had to substitute Embossing Powder for Embossing Paste since I didn’t have any. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Bundle along with the Deckled Rectangle Dies for my card today.

I started by stamping the thin leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Copper Clay Ink on a Copper Clay card front. Using the Translucent Florals Dies, I cut an old, retired panel of cardstock to make a mask cutting 3 leaves from the top and 3 leaves from the bottom. I placed the mask on top of the card front and secured it with Post-It Note Tape. Using my Versamark stamp pad, I patted all around to make sure the ink got on the leaf openings. I removed the mask and sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the card front to a Copper Clay card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the large leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink twice. I cut the images out using the Translucent Florals Dies. I adhered the 2 leaf dies to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Deckled Rectangle Dies lining up the bottom of the sentiment with the die so the bottom and sides are rough edges and the top is straight. I adhered as piece of Copper Clay 3/8″ Textures Ribbon to the bottom back of the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the large leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the thin leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink around the large leaf image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat then to the inside of the Copper Clay card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the large leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the thin leaf image from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on the envelope front and flap.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends HAPPY JULY and welcome to the weekend. Is anyone lucky enough to have an extra-long holiday weekend? Working in retails, not me. I’ll be working in the office all day today since it’s the 1st of the month, I have to get those bills done. The good thing is as soon as I get them done, I just have to drop them off at the post office and I’m done for the day. I’m off Sunday from work, so I’m planning on moving my craft area up to my new craft room, YAY!!! I’ll be moving from a 6′ X 6′ area to about a 10′ X 12′ area, it might take me a bit to get used to being able to spread out a bit. I need to stay home, since my daughter had ankle surgery on Thursday and isn’t allowed to walk. She had to stay in bed with her ankle elevated for 48 hours, which is tough for her. She is allowed to get out of her bed today and move to the sofa. She gets around with crutches, but when you have a house full of stairs it’s hard.

Today’s card is another one from the Creativity Now workshop from last weekend. This one was the 1st of the masculine cards we made and once again I almost followed the directions exactly. I changed up the ink color and used an embossing folder for mine. I’ll have the advanced version for you tomorrow, which again I tweaked to my liking. Here’s my card for today.

On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Gray Granite Ink. I cut the sentiment using the Deckled Rectangle Dies by lining up the bottom of the sentiment with the die. I cut the sentiment, so the bottom and sides are uneven, and the top is straight. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, over the leaves. I added a few Classic Matte Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stampin’ Up! Ocean Front for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already. I hope you are all having a good week.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We have a new fun challenge this week. The inspiration photo #198 is Summertime Fun. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ocean Front Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay Cling Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Photopolymer Stamp Set for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the overall theme, beach and birds in the photo.

I started by stamping a Basic White card front using the Oceanfront stamp set. I stamped the center water image first using Tahitian Tide Ink. I then stamped the sky image using Tahitian Tide Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. Last I stamped the sand image on the bottom in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped the detailed sand image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink over the already stamped sand image. I stamped the tall grass image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the side. I stamped the cattails image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink next to the tall grass. I adhered the artwork to the center front of a Tahitian Tide card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Pecan Pie cardstock using the Online Exclusive Radiating Stitches Dies. I cut the center out of the panel using the 4th largest Deckled Rectangle Dies to make a frame. I adhered the frame over the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sand piper bird image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I cut the birds out using the Seaside Bay Dies. I adhered one of the birds using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the other two using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Circle Sayings stamp set on a panel of Basic White. I fussy cut the sentiment using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. Happy Father’s Day to any father’s out there. I hope you have some fun plans in the works. I’m not sure what we’ll be doing today yet.

Today’s card is a pretty quick one that could be for men or women. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet & Precious Cling Stamp Set along with the Deckled Rectangle Dies and Fern 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

My design is from Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #610.

I started by embossing a Wild Wheat card front using the Fern Embossing Folder. I wrapped a piece of Pecan Pie 1/2″ Bordered Ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the embossed panel to a Wild Wheat card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the giraffe image from the Sweet & Precious stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I colored the image using Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet & Precious stamp set on the top of the panel in Pecan Pie Ink.

I adhered the stamped image to a Pecan Pie mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Opaque Ovals to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet & Precious stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I stamped the giraffe image from the Sweet & Precious stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the side of the panel. I colored the image with Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the giraffe image from the Sweet & Precious stamp set on the envelope front in Pecan Pie Ink. I colored the image with Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Wild Wheat cardstock to the envelope flap that I embossed using the Fern Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Fun On Wheels for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already. I hope everyone is having a good week. I had my card class last night and had a lot of fun with the ladies. I look forward to getting together with them each month. We get to chat while they are making their 4 cards. Some of them bring some ‘show & tell’. Each month some of them bring cards that they have made since our last class, and I let them pick a little gift. One of the ladies brings everyone a homemade paper craft to share.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. We have 2 inspiration photos this week and you can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo 197a is Industrial Modern and photo 197b is Nature Calls. Here is my card inspired by the photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fun On Wheels Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiment Photopolymer Stamp Set, Stripes and Splatters 3 D Embossing Folders and Banner Pick A Punch for my Clean and Layered Card today. I was inspired by the colors from photo 197a.

Using the Fun on Wheels Dies, I cut the bike frame from a panel of Tahitian Tide and the wheels and seat from a panel of Basic Black. I adhered the seat and wheels to the bike frame using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Sweet Sorbet, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I cut the end using the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the bike to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Classic Matte Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Fun on Wheels stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Basic White. Using Basic Black and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored the bike image from the Fun on Wheels stamp set. I gave it a huff and stamped it on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to an Early Espresso mat then to the inside of the Tahitian Tide card base.

Stampin’ Up! Fun On Wheels for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Tara’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “For the Boys/Men”. We can interpret this however we want. Here’s my card for today.

I couldn’t wait to use the new Stampin’ Up! Fun On Wheels Bundle along with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder for my card today. This one will be for my husband. He likes taking his bike and riding all around town with it.

I started by embossing a Boho Blue card front using the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Boho Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the 3 panels of Basic White, I stamped the road map image from the Stampin’ Up! Fun On Wheels Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the 3 stamped panels to 3 Pecan Pie mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered 2 of the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the 3rd layered panel in the center using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut the bike die cut from a panel of Real Red using the Fun On Wheels Dies. I cut the wheel die cuts and seat from a panel of Basic Black using the Fun On Wheels Dies. I adhered the pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the bike to the center panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Fun On Wheels stamp set in Boho Blue Ink. I adhered a strip of Pecan Pie behind the sentiment using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Opaque Ovals to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Fun on Wheels stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the bicycle image from the Fun On Wheels stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the bike image from the Fun On Wheels stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I embossed a panel of Boho Blue cardstock using the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the envelope flap.
