Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone doing? How’s the weather by you? VERY windy here yesterday. We had trees down and branches flying.
For today’s card I made a Z-Fold Kids birthday card using the Stampin’ Up Animal Outing Bundle. I love fun fold cards, I really need to make more for you.
I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and scored and folded it at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″. Here’s what it looks like folded.
I adhered 2 different panels of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper to a Call Me Clover mats using Snail. I then adhered them both to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Giraffe image from the Animal Outing stamp set, twice in Soft Suede Ink. I colored both giraffes in with my Light Soft Suede and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers. Using my Big Shot, I cut both images out using the Animal Friends Thinlits Dies. I adhered the giraffes looking over the short panel at the 2 frogs on the branch on the larger panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On another small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the birthday sentiment from Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Call Me Clover Ink. Using my Big Shot again, I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Stitched Rectangle Framelit Die. Then using the next size up, I cut another Stitched Rectangle out in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. I adhered the sentiment to the mat using Snail and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Call Me Clover Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the card front and the sentiment. I also added 2 Candle Embellishments to the sentiment. In case you can’t tell, the card was for a 2 year old.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set in Call Me Clover on a rectangle a hair smaller than the Lemon Lime Twist mat on the card front. I edged the rectangle with my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker then adhered it to the inside, making sure it was under the rectangle on the card front, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the giraffe and frog on a branch image from the Animal Outing stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the giraffes in the same as I did for the card front and I colored the frog on the branch in with my Call Me Clover, Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers. I adhered a piece of Animal Expedition DSP to the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Product List

For my card today I joined
I started by layering a panel of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet and a panel of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper on a Lemon Lime Twist card base. I decided where I wanted the peek-a-boo circle and placed my Layering Circles Framelits Dies on top of the card front. Using my Big Shot I ran it through all 3 layers, going through a couple of times to make sure it cut all the way through. I adhered the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet on the Lemon Lime Twist card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Animal Expedition DSP on the Foil Sheet using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using my Big Shot again, I cut the scallop circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies that was larger than the card front circle out of Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet. I adhered the scallop circle over the card front circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the dog with balloon image from the Bella and Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the image in using my Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Markers. I then fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips.
On the inside I stamped the kitty in the flower-pot image from the Pretty Kitty stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel. I lined it up and stamped it so that it would be peeking through the card front circle. I colored the kitty in using my Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Berry Burst mat using Snail and adhered it to the inside of the Lemon Lime Twist card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Kitty stamp set on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Berry Burst Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I cut a scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, that was just larger than the stitched oval, out of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet. I adhered the stitched oval to the scalloped oval using Snail and adhered it to the inner liner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The next one I played along with is “Just Us Girls” Color Challenge #471. Be sure to stop by
The last one I played along with is TGIF Inspiration Challenge # 195. You want to be sure to stop by
Here is what I came up with for all 3 challenges. Take a look.
I started with a Balmy Blue card front and stamped the sand/shells in Sahara Sand Ink and the bubbles In Balmy Blue Ink from the Stampin’ Up Magical Mermaid stamp set on it. I then took a panel of Soft Sea Foam and stamped the seaweed multiple times, using my Stamparatus, across it. I colored some of the seaweed in with my Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Marker. I then ran it through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered the Soft Sea Foam panel to the card front.
On a piece of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the mermaid from the Magical Mermaid stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the mermaid in using my Light Calypso Coral, Light Highland Heather, Ivory, Light Mint Macaron, Light Pool Party and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. The Shimmery White paper gave the mermaid a really pretty shimmer after it was colored. I fussy cut the mermaid and adhered her to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a strip of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Magical Mermaid stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink. Using my Triple Banner Punch I made it into a banner and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

As you can see all the cards are kind of the same. The frog card is made with Melon Mambo and the 1 1/2″ Circle Punch. The puppy is made with Poppy Parade and the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and the kitty is made with Blushing Bride and the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. All these cards are Peek-A-Boo cards.

I stamped the Happy Valentine’s Day sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Forever Lovely stamp set in either Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (on the Melon Mambo or Poppy Parade cards) or Early Espresso Ink (for the Blushing Bride card) above the circle or ovals. I wrapped a piece of Whisper White 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the top of each card base and tied a knot. I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each of the card fronts.

I stamped the You Are Loved sentiment from the Forever Lovely stamp set on a Whisper White panel using Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade or Early Espresso Inks. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of each of the card bases.

I started with a piece of Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper. Using my Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker I drew lines between the checks to make it look like plaid. I adhered a small piece of the DSP to the left side of a Whisper White card front using Snail. I wrapped a piece of the Grapefruit Grove 1/4″ Organdy Ribbon around the card front on the seem. I adhered the card front to a Call Me Clover mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. In the upper right corner of the Whisper White panel, I stamped the flies from the So Hoppy Together stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in using my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker.
I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front to a Soft Sea Foam card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 1 Grapefruit Grove Share What You Love Artisan Pearl next to the sentiment.
On the inside Whisper White panel I stamped the frog from So Hoppy Together stamp set on the bottom portion of the panel and the flies from the same set by the frog. I colored it in the same as I did for the front of the card. I adhered a small strip of the Gingham Gala 6 X 6 DSP to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Postcard Pals stamp set in Call Me Clover in the center of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Call Me Clover mat using Snail, then adhered it to the Soft Sea Foam card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
