Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I have off tomorrow so I finally get to go to my great nephew’s basketball game. Sunday I’ll be at work all day and we have our monthly team meeting which I’m hoping to sign into while working.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Bundle (available March 1), along with the Stampin’ Up! Gentle Waves Cling Stamp Set and the Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper (available March 1), for my fun fold card today.

I started by scoring and folding the 2 card bases as listed in the measurements below. I adhered panels of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the front of the larger card base and to the inside of the large card base. I adhered the smaller card base to the center back of the large card base first using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I folded the card and adhered the front of the smaller card base to the front of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is how the large and small Z-Fold card bases will look adhered together.

I adhered a panel of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the front of the smaller card base. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Gentle Waves stamp in Coastal Cabana Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink.

On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the image to the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment panel to a Pacific Point mat and then to the front of the smaller card base so that it is hanging off the right edge. I added a few Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on a Basic Whtie panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink over the wave. I stamped the bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to the inside of the small card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican and bird images from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it using my Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the Gentle Waves stamp on the bottom of the envelope front in Coastal Cabana Ink. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be working all day Saturday and Sunday too.

I used Sale-a-bration products for today’s card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Cling Stamp Set along with the Simply Marbleous 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Simply Marbleous DSP to a Misty Moonlight card base. Using my Layering Circles Dies, I cut the center of the card front using the 4th largest die.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using the 5th largest Layering Circle Die and colored it in using my Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Misty Moonlight and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. From a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock I cut the coordinating scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies. I cut the 4th largest Layering Circle Dies from a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I adhered the artwork to the scalloped circle die using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered circles to the Misty Moonlight circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the Basic White panel and cut it out using the smallest Layering Diorama Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the sentiment .

I adhered the 2 panels of Simply Marbleous DSP to the Z-Fold sides of the inner card. I adhered the layered artwork to the inside using Stampin’ Seal only on the one half of the circle. I adhered it by closing the card and placing the circle inside the circle on the card front to make sure the card opens properly.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the inside of the Basic White panel. I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Balmy Blue panel to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base. I adhered the Basic White inner card to the inside of the Misty Moonlight care base on top of the Balmy Blue liner

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be working all day Saturday depending on the amount of snow we get. Once we sell out of shovels and salt sometimes, they will close the store so that everyone can get home safely. Fortunately, I walk to work, so I don’t have to worry too much about travel.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the New Horizons 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding the Pale Papaya card base as listed below. I adhered the card base together using Tear & Tape between the 5 1/8″ & 5 1/2″ score lines. I cut the panel of New Horizons DSP keeping them in order, at 1 5/8″, then 1 3/8″, then 1 5/8″ that left a 1 3/8″ panel. I placed the panels together on my Grid Paper and stamped the birdhouse pole from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the right 1 5/8″ panel. I colored the pole in using my Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker. I stamped the tree image from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Cling Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink along one of the hills on the DSP. Starting with the left panel, I adhered the panels to the Pale Papaya card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a scrap of In Good Taste DSP to a scrap of Basic Whtie cardstock and stamped the birdhouse image from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set on the DSP in Early Espresso Ink. I fussy cut the birdhouse using my Paper Snips. I adhered the birdhouse to the right panel of DSP on the card base in the center on the stamped pole image using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right side of the birdhouse. I adhered the 2 – 1/4″ strips of Soft Succulent cardstock to the thin edges of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Pebbles Enamel Shapes to the card front along the path.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Ornate Frames Dies and adhered it to the center card front panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Brushed Brass Butterfly to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the flower images from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the Soft Succulent mat and then to the inside of the Pale Papaya card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the birdhouse image and pole from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the grass and flower images from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink below the birdhouse. I adhered a panel of the New Horizon DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up On The Horizon Fun Fold

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I have off tomorrow but have to work on Sunday.

Today’s card I was going to make on my Facebook Live Wednesday, but I wasn’t feeling well so I never went live. I’m hoping all is better next week. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Bundle along with the New Horizon 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding my Misty Moonlight card base as listed below. I took a panel of the New Horizons DSP and cut it down to 5 3/8″. I cut 15/16″ off the right and left side of the DSP. I stamped the grass image from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink on the 2 small panels. I adhered the 2 panels on the 2 side folds of the card base. I stamped the bird image from the On The Horizon stamp set on the larger piece of DSP in Tuxedo Black Ink then adhered it in the center of the card base.

Using my Horizon Dies, I cut the 2 fence pieces out of a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I adhered the 2 fences on each of the side panels using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut 2 of the grass dies from a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock and adhered them in front of the fence pieces.

On a panel of In Good Taste DSP I stamped the sentiment from the On The Horizon stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the side panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On the panel I cut off the top of the DSP I stamped the bird image from the On The Horizon stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. My husband wanted to do some extreme fussy cutting (as he called it) of the birds, so I cut a couple and so did he. I adhered the cut birds to the side panels with a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Pebbles Enamel Shapes to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the On The Horizon stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I stamped the grass image on the bottom of the panel in Garden Green Ink and the birds on the top of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to the back of the Misty Moonlight card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the envelope front with the grass image from the On The Horizon stamp set in Garden Green Ink and the birds in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered a panel of New Horizon DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs Fun Fold with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be working all day Saturday and have Sunday off.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Sunshine & Rainbows 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today. This DSP is a FREE Sale-a-bration item with a qualifying $50.

I started by adhering 2 panels of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP to Bermuda Bay Mats. I adhered the layered panels to the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment, mushroom, bird & hedgehog images from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, So Saffron & Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Mango Melody Stampin’ Write Marker. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and then to the front of the small Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few of the Brushed Brass Butterflies to the artwork.

On another panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment, butterfly and hedgehog images from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Balck Ink. I colored the images in using my Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and then to the inside of the small Pool Party card base. I wrapped a piece of Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon around the large card base and tied a bow. I adhered the small card base to the small right panel of the large card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the tree image from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the 2 hedgehog images from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set on the envelope front and colored them using my Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Sunshine & Rainbows DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Happy & Heartfelt Thank You for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I’ll be at work tomorrow, but I have off on Sunday, YAY!!!

I have another quick fun fold card for you today with a little twist using some new product. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Happy & Heartfelt Cling Stamp Set along with the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Pool Party card base at 3 1/4″ & 4 1/4″, this is a book fold card. I then cut 1″ off the right side of the card front. I adhered the 1″ scored left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered a 7/8″ strip of Sweet Talk DSP to the adhered side of the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set in Pool Party Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips.

I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I wrapped a piece of White Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack around the left side of the card base and tied a bow. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happy & Heartfelt stamp set in Pool Party Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a small strip of the Sweet Talk DSP to the bottom of the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a strip of Sweet Talk DSP to the right inside of the card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Sweet Talk DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. Happy New Year’s Eve!!! Does anyone have any plans for tonight or tomorrow? It’ll be a quiet night at my house.

I used a set today from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Sometimes I forget about the annual catalog when the new catalogs are available. Here’s my card for today,

I used the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Cling Stamp Set along with the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of a Pale Papaya card front. I stamped the small floral image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink around the sentiment. I embossed the panel using the new Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (available January 4, 2022).

I took a panel of Expressions In Ink DSP and scored, cut & folded it as in the diagram below. I adhered the cut & folded panel to the Pale Papaya card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the top edge, left side and the small right side.

I wrapped a piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon around the top of the panel and tied a small bow. I adhered the card front to a Pale Papaya card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Gilded Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on either side of the sentiment. I stamped the leaf images in Old Olive Ink on the flowers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pale Papaya mat and then to the inside of the Pale Papaya card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the small flower image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on the envelope front and the leaves in Old Olive Ink. I adhered a panel of Expressions In Ink DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! In The Moment for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends! Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. Can you believe there are only 2 days left of 2021? I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to 2022, with being sick this past month, I’m ready to start a new year. I hope you have something fun planned for tomorrow night to ring in the new year.

If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Theme Challenge and it’s my favorite kind!!! I can’t wait to see what everyone has created this week. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here is my card using this weeks Theme.

I used the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Cling Stamp Set along with the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper for my Tower card today.

This is this week’s Theme.

I started by scoring and cutting my card base as pictured in the template below.

A while back I did a video making this card. Click Here to see the video.

I adhered panel of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the image from the In The Moment stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from In The Moment stamp set on the top of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake, Ivory, Misty Moonlight, Smoky Slate and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. On a scrap of Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper, I stamped the pillow part of the stamp and fussy cut the pillows using my Paper Snips. I adhered the fussy cut pieces to the stamped image. I adhered the artwork to a panel of So Saffron cardstock using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2020-2022 In-Color Square Gems to the card front.

I adhered panels of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the back of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from In The Moment stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the back of the card base.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends Merry Christmas Eve and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Will you be spending time with friends or family tomorrow? We’ll be spending the day relaxing just my husband, daughter and me. My son and his girlfriend will be going to her family’s house. My niece and her family will be going to her husband’s family like they always do. So, our plan is to relax, watch Christmas movies, maybe stamp a little and just enjoy the day.

Today I have my simple go to fun fold card, another Z fold using some new product coming in the January-February Sale-a-bration catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Cling Stamp Set along with the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring and folding a Misty Moonlight card base at 2 3/4″ & 5 1/2″. I folded the card base in half first and then folded the front back along the 2 3/4″ score line.

I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to a Balmy Blue mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image our using my Layering Diorama Dies. I cut the next size larger Layering Diorama Die from a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock and adhered the artwork to it using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left half of the panel. I added a few of the new Pebbles Enamel Shapes on the bottom of the artwork.

On the inside I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Awesome Otter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside left of the card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the otter image from the Awesome Otter stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Do you have plans for the weekend yet? I spent all day yesterday mixing cookie batters and baking off my bar cookies. Today and tomorrow, I’ll be baking all day. I got a lot more done than I expected to.

Today I have my simple go to fun fold card, a Z fold. For me this is one of the easiest fun folds that you can make. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Cling Stamp Set along with the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering panels of the Expressions In Ink DSP to Just Jade mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to a Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the rose image from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink next to the rose image and cut the image out using my Scalloped Contours Dies.

I adhered the artwork to the front folded panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, only on the left side of the artwork. I tied a small knot using the Just Jade & Gold 3/8″ Braided Ribbon and adhered it to the flower stem using a Glue Dot. I added a few Garden Gems to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small, metered image from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink, stamped off twice on scrap paper, by the sentiment. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Just Jade mat and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose image from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Expressions in Ink DSP to the envelope flap.
