Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope everyone had a great week and you are looking forward to an even better weekend. I’ll be at work both days this weekend.
I’m sorry I missed my Facebook live this past Wednesday. Something came up last minute and we had to leave the house by 4:30, nothing bad though. So since I couldn’t go live this week, I decided to hold onto the card I was going to make and come up with something else quick. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Bundle along with the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper for my card today.
Here is a template of my card.
Once I made all my score and cut lines and folded the card, I adhered panels of Abigail Rose DSP to the front and sides of the card base. On a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the large rose image form the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the rose using my Watercolor Pencils. I colored the leaves using the Old Olive Watercolor Pencil. For the rose, I first colored it with my White Watercolor Pencil then I went over the highlighted areas with my Flirty Flaming Watercolor Pencil. I cut the rose out using my Cottage Flowers Dies, I also cut the detailed flowers from a panel of Petal Pink cardstock and the detailed leaves from a panel of Old Olive cardstock.
I adhered the detailed flowers and leaves to the back of the large rose image using Glue Dots. I did leave some of the solid pieces in the detailed flowers. I adhered the rose collage to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Abigail Rose DSP. I adhered the stamped panel to a Petal Pink mat and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Cottage Rose stamp set in Old Olive Ink along the bottom front of the envelope. I adhered a panel of Abigail Rose DSP to the envelope flap.
