Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. How had your week started? Is anyone expecting snow today and tomorrow. I think the storm is going to miss us again.
For today’s card I used the new Stampin’ Up Humming Along Stamp Set and some of the beautiful new Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper. Take a look.
I started with a Mossy Meadow card front and adhered a piece of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper to it using Snail. I then took a strip of Petal Pink cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I adhered the Petal Pink strip on the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a piece of the gorgeous Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a panel of Whisper White cardstock using a tiny bit of Snail just in the corners. I did this because the piece I picked was Vellum and sometimes adhesive shows through it. I then adhered the mounted DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat using Snail and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Hibiscus image from the Stampin’ Up Humming Along Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the image in using my Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the hibiscus out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies with my Big Shot. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a small bow made from the Silver and Petal Pink Bakers Twine and added it to the flower stem with a Glue Dot. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the hibiscus image from the Humming Along stamp set in Petal Pink Ink, stamping off once, to a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set over the hibiscus in Fresh Fig Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mossy Meadow mat using Snail then adhered it to the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the hibiscus from the Humming Along stamp set in Fresh Fig Ink on the envelope front. I colored the hibiscus in the same way I did for the card front. I adhered a piece of Tranquil Textures DSP to the envelope flap.

I started with a piece of Vellum cardstock and stamped the Well from the Bright Wishes stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I colored the image in with my Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I did the coloring on the back of the Vellum, not on the embossed side. Using my Big Shot, I cut the image out with my Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. I also cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock the same size as the rectangle to adhere under the Vellum image.
I cut a rectangle frame out in Old Olive cardstock using the same size framelit that I cut the Vellum image. I adhered the Vellum image to the Very Vanilla cardstock using small spots of Snail so that you wouldn’t see it. I adhered the Very Vanilla artwork and the Old Olive frame to a Night of Navy card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a piece of Old Olive Linen Thread around the card front. I made a bow separately and adhered it to the card front on the Linen Thread with a Glue Dot. I adhered the card front to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope. I stamped the Well image from the Bright Wishes stamp set on the front of the envelope and colored it in the same as I did for the card front. It came out a little darker since I colored the card front on the backside of the Vellum.

The other challenge I joined in with is Colour and Sketches #305. Stop by to see what everyone has made at
I’ve made a very clean and simple card today for the 2 challenges. I don’t usually do simple, but every once in a while I like to add one in. Take a look.
I started by cutting 2 mats in Balmy Blue cardstock. On the larger mat I adhered a piece of Subtles 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in Balmy Blue using Snail. I adhered the matted DSP to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to the smaller Balmy Blue mat using Snail. I then adhered it to the Night of Navy card base, using Stampin’ Dimensionals, over lapping the matted DSP panel.
On the inside I stamped the larger snowflake from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once, across a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the snowflakes. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The last one I played along with is TGIF Inspiration Challenge # 195. You want to be sure to stop by
Here is what I came up with for all 3 challenges. Take a look.
I started with a Balmy Blue card front and stamped the sand/shells in Sahara Sand Ink and the bubbles In Balmy Blue Ink from the Stampin’ Up Magical Mermaid stamp set on it. I then took a panel of Soft Sea Foam and stamped the seaweed multiple times, using my Stamparatus, across it. I colored some of the seaweed in with my Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Write Marker. I then ran it through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered the Soft Sea Foam panel to the card front.
On a piece of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the mermaid from the Magical Mermaid stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the mermaid in using my Light Calypso Coral, Light Highland Heather, Ivory, Light Mint Macaron, Light Pool Party and Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. The Shimmery White paper gave the mermaid a really pretty shimmer after it was colored. I fussy cut the mermaid and adhered her to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a strip of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Magical Mermaid stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink. Using my Triple Banner Punch I made it into a banner and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Here is what I came up with for the 2 challenges Take a look
I started with a Petal Pink card front and using my Big Shot I embossed it with my Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then cut out the largest flourish from the Flourish Thinlits Dies in Soft Sea Foam cardstock 2 times. I adhered the one flourish on top of the second to make it a little thicker. I sponged the die cut with my Soft Sea Foam Ink then adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added some Wink Of Stella to the flowers on the die cut.
On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Accented Blooms stamp set in So Saffron Ink. I cut the strip into a banner using my Triple Banner Punch and sponged the edges with the So Saffron Ink. I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a few So Saffron Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the card front and the banner. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The next one is
On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Meant To Be Cling Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. Using the 5th from the largest Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies I cut the sentiment out with my Big Shot. I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Coastal Cabana Glitter Enamel Dot to the corner.
On a panel of Petal Pink Cardstock I stamped the floral heart image from the Meant To Be stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink twice. I then cut the 2 hearts out using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies. I also cut 2 of the same size hearts out in Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the frame around the stamped hearts. I adhered the hearts to the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Berry Burst card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Stampin’ Up Hello Cupcake stamp set. It’s one of the FREE products from Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order. I started with a Pineapple Punch card front. Using my Stamparatus I stamped the Sprinkled with Love sentiment from the Hello Cupcake in Pineapple Punch Ink. I adhered the card front to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail.
On a strip of Pineapple Punch cardstock I stamped the Sprinkled with Love sentiment in Lovely Lipstick and made a banner. I adhered the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left of the artwork. I added a couple of the Candle Embellishments to the cupcake and a Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot in Call Me Clover on the artwork. I adhered the card front to a Pineapple Punch card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside I stamped the cupcake from the Hello Cupcake stamp set the same as I did for the artwork, but I stamped off twice to get a light image on a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the top of the cupcake. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail then adhered it to the Pineapple Punch card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Here is the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge # 303.
Here is what I came up with for the 2 challenges. Take a look.
On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped 2 of the plant images from the Stampin’ Up Seasoned With Kindness Host Exclusive stamp set. I first stamped the outlines in Tranquil Tide Ink. I then stamped the inside of the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist Ink and the inside of the flower in Highland Heather Ink. I stamped the inside of the flower-pot in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I did all the stamping using my Stamparatus. It made lining everything up very easy. Using my Big Shot I cut the artwork out using the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
I adhered the circle to a small piece of Mint Macaron cardstock using Snail. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Easter Beauty stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink around the bottom of the circle. I stamped another plant image from the Seasoned With Kindness stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink along the bottom of the Mint Macaron panel. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then took a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine and colored it using my Pear Pizzazz Ink. I tied a small bow and attached it to the flower pot using a Glue Dot.
On the inside I stamped the plant images from the Seasoned With Kindness stamp set along the bottom of a Whisper White panel the same way I stamped them on the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink in the center of the panel and adhered it to a Highland Heather mat using Snail. I then adhered it to the Tranquil Tide card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Here is what I came up with for the combined challenge. Sometimes we get so hung up with the new catalogs that come out that we forget about the Annual Catalog that still has some beautiful stamp sets. I thought this would make a perfect Father’s Day card. Take a look.
I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the barn image from the Stampin’ Up Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Using my Aqua Painter I water colored the sky in Balmy Blue Ink. I lightly colored the trees and bushes in with Calypso Coral and So Saffron Inks and the windmill in with Smoky Slate Ink, all using my Aqua Painter. I adhered the artwork panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail.
On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the little boy and the ducks from the Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Again using my Aqua Painter, I colored the ducks in So Saffron and Calypso Coral Inks. I colored the little boy in with my Balmy Blue and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers and I colored the stick in with my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. Using my Big Shot I cut the image out using my Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I edged the circle using my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.
On the inside I stamped the barn image from the Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail. I then adhered it to the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Their challenge was to use Glossy Paper. Here is what I came up with. Take a look.
I started with 2 pieces of Glossy White cardstock and did the Shaving Cream Technique on them using Petal Pink, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Ink Refills. Once the paper was dry, I stamped the sentiment and the cake from Stampin’ Up Amazing Life stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on them and let the ink dry completely. Once they were dry I adhered the panel with the sentiment onto the Petal Pink cardstock and the panel with the cake onto the Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
I adhered the So Saffron panel to the Soft Sea Foam panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I then adhered the Petal Pink cardstock to a So Saffron panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I wrapped a piece of Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon around the Soft Sea Foam side and tied a knot. I secured the knot with a Glue Dot. I added some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Glossy White artwork panels.
On the inside on a Whisper White panel I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Amazing Life stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center. I stamped the scroll from the same stamp set above the sentiment in Soft Sea Foam Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Petal Pink using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
