Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. This will be a short week for many. Are you starting to make plans for the 4th yet?

Today’s card is one that I haven’t made for a couple years and i thought I’d feature it again. I’ve actually attached a video that I did making this card live a couple of years ago. The DSP and stamp sets I used in the video have since retired, but it walks you through step by step on how to make it. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! You Are Remarkable Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper, Modern Oval Punch and Beautiful Motifs Dies for my card today.

Score a panel of Celebratory Sips DSP along the 5 1/2″ edge as shown above on the template. Cut from the bottom left corner to 1 1/2″ up on the right side using the Paper Trimmer. Fold the DSP as mountain and valley folds in the diagram above. In the center of the right edge of the folded panel, Cut in to the first fold line using Paper Snips. Fold the 2 sides back from the center to the outside corners. You will be folding a couple layers.

Wrap a piece of 1/4″ Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim (available July 1st) around the folded panel and tied a bow. Adhere the folded panel to a Blackberry Bliss panel using Tear & Tape. Adhere the layered panel to a Bubble Bath card base with Liquid Glue.

Using the Beautiful Motifs Dies, cut panels of Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. Adhere the die cut panels to the card front with Glue Dots. Using the Modern Oval Punch, cut a panel of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the punched panel. Adhere the sentiment to the card front over the die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a Basic White panel. Stamp the splatter image from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Old Olive Ink around the sentiment. Adhere a panel of Celebratory Sips DSP to the side of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat then to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the leaf image from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the splatter image from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink around the leaf image. Adhere a panel of Celebratory Sips DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my fun fold Friday. I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend.

How many of you have a problem every now and then with crafters block? It’s an ongoing problem with me. I’ll stand in front of my shelves of stamp sets not knowing what to use. Yesterday I went outside and walked around my yard. Most of my hydrangeas are in full bloom. After looking around, I went inside and grabbed a bunch of cardstock and brought it outside. By now I knew what I wanted to use for my card, I just needed to pick the colors. My inspiration came from this Hydrangea bush in my front yard.

This was the other card I made, which is the same as the other one but with Berry Burst, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape Inks

This was my inspiration for the 2nd card. I have purple and pink blooms on the same bush. I also have purple and blue bushes that are also multicolored on the same bushes.

Cut a panel of Basic White using the 2nd largest Textured Notes Dies. Add some Bubble Bath Ink with a Blending Brush in the center of the die cut. On the same panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Textured Notes Dies.

Adhere a panel of Lovely Garden DSP to a Basic Black mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the front panel of the Melon Mambo card base with Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the hydrangea image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks #4 & #5 add Granny Apple Green Ink with the Blending Brush. Cut the image out using the Thankful Garden Dies. Adhere the flower to the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom of the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Starburst Sequins to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. It’s the last Wednesday of June, which I’m having trouble wrapping my head around, in a blink of an eye, it’ll be July. I was supposed to go to an 8th grade graduation today, but because of the heat advisory they moved it inside and there was a limited number of guests allowed. It’s been a brutal couple of days here in NJ, you walk outside, and you can’t breathe. I love the heat, but not when I can’t breathe in it. I believe the heat wave is supposed to break by 8pm tonight.

Today’s card is a little sneak peek of a new bundle that will be available starting next Tuesday July 1st, and I made a very simple card with it.  If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Emboss the panel with the Plaster Painting EF.

Adhere 3 panels of Lovely Garden DSP to the embossed panel with Liquid Glue. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic White Thick card base with Liquid Glue.

Using the Small Blending Brush, add Garden Green Ink to 1/2 of a Basic White panel. Cut 2 of the leaf die cuts using the Label Me Grateful Dies, one on the Garden Green blended portion and one from the white portion. Adhere the die cut leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue. Tie a small bow using the Black Baker’s Twine and adhere it to the die cut stems with a Glue Dot. Add a few Neutral Matte Dots to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Label Me Grateful stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the side of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

Stampin’ Up! Coneflower Celebrations with Front Flap

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How is your week going? It’s a hot one here in NJ, yesterday and today in the 100’s, but we’ll get a break tomorrow it’s only supposed to be 95.

I’m really loving this bundle that I got and I’m going to have to control myself from using it too much. If you would have told me in April that I’d be making cards using orange, I’d probably laugh at you, orange and yellow are just not my colors. There’s something about Timid Tiger that I just love, it’s such a pretty orange that I just want to keep using it. Color the images with Bronze, Darling Duckling, Lemon Lolly, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the images out with the Coneflower Celebrations Dies. Cut the detailed flower die from the Coneflower Celebrations Dies from a panel of Timid Tiger and the detailed flower center die from a panel of Early Espresso.

Stamp the stem and leaf images from the Impressions Abloom stamp set in Garden Green Ink. Adhere a panel of Floral Impressions DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Timid Tiger mat then to the inside of the Timid Tiger card base.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Does anyone have plans? I’m not working today, which is very unusual for me. I switched my days around since I have a demonstrator event this afternoon. I’m attending the Creativity Now event from Stampin’ Up! virtually. This is a demo only event that we have once a year. I got to preorder a suite that will be available in the September-December Mini Catalog, and we’ll be creating card with it.

Stampin’ Up! Just A Note for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday afternoon stamping friends and HAPPY SUMMER!!!!! TODAY is the longest day of the year with daylight, YAY!! I love the summertime, minus the humidity. It’s a gorgeous day outside today. Yesterday was so hot and humid I didn’t go out much, but then we had these massive thunderstorms go through and took most of the humidity with it. The winds from the thunderstorms yesterday were so bad it blew over an iron and glass top patio table that I have with an umbrella in an iron stand. My daughter and I ran out in the storm to pick everything up and put the umbrellas in the shed. Needless to say, we came in soak ‘n wet.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. It’s the middle of the week already and there are less than 2 weeks left of the Suite Sale. I hope you are grabbing those items you want at 50% off.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the coneflower and butterfly images from the Stampin’ Up! Coneflower Celebrations Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the coneflowers with Pecan Pie and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Color the butterfly with Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the images out with the Coneflower Celebrations Dies. Cut the flower center using the Coneflower Celebrations Dies from a panel of Pecan Pie. Adhere the flower center to the top of the die cut flower with Stampin’ Seal.

On another panel of Basic White, stamp the coneflower image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the right side of the panel. Color the image with Pecan Pie and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the stem image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set on the flower in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the stem image again next to the flower image. Stamp the leaf images on the stems in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the stem and leaves in Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. Randomly stamp the splatter image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink around the card front. Stamp the sentiment from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the top of the panel.

Adhere the card front to a Strawberry Slush mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to a Pretty in Pink card base with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the flower to the card front, overlapping the stamped flower a little, with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the butterfly to the card front on the stamped flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the butterfly image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set next to the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. Color the butterfly with Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends Markers. Randomly stamp the splatter image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink around the sentiment and butterfly. Adhere the Basic White pane to a Strawberry Slush mat then to the inside of the Pretty in Pink card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the coneflower image on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink and color the image with Pecan Pie and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the butterfly image from Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope flap. Color the image with Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends Markers. Randomly stamp the splatter image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink on the envelope front and flap.
