Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend!!! It’s supposed to be a beautiful one here in NJ. I’ll be working all day today, and I’m guessing with a beautiful day ahead it’s going to be crazy busy.
I have a super quick thank you card for you today. I’m trying to get some thank you cards done for my daughter. She has gotten some graduation gifts and asked me to make her a few cards. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Bundle along with the Full of Life 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I adhered a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back of a panel of Basic Black and cut the 3 butterflies using the Sketched Butterflies Dies from a panel of Basic Black. I adhered a Full of Life DSP card front to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal.
I adhered the layered panel to a Daffodil Delight card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the die cut butterflied to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Cling Stamp Set on a panel of Basic White in Tuxedo Black Ink. I tied a bow using the Basic Black Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack and adhered it to the card front using a Glue Dot. I adhered the sentiment over the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Faceted Gems to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered 2 strips of the Full of Life DSP to the top and bottom of the panel. I stamped the cluster of butterflies image from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink next to the sentiment. I colored the butterflies using Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Daffodil Delight card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the butterfly image from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image using Daffodil Delight and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Full of Life DSP to the envelope flap.
