Good Sunday morning stamping friends. Hope is your weekend going? We’re supposed to get a significant amount of snow today, we’ll see what happens. I don’t believe the weathermen anymore, I usually wait until that day to see what’s going to accumulate.
Have you ever made a card with a certain person in mind that you want to send it to? That’s my card for today. I’m mailing it out tomorrow to someone who might just need a little pick me up. I used the Stampin’ Up! Spotlight on Nature Cling Stamp Set, along with the Stampin’ Up! Wild Ferns Bundle, and Golden Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.
My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #825
I also played along with TGIF Theme Challenge #TGIFC508
Stamp the flower and butterfly images from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Golden Greenery Vellum Paper. Sprinkle the images with Gold Embossing Powder and set them using the Heat Tool. Flip the Vellum Paper over to the backside and color the inside of the flowers and butterfly images using Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers.
Adhere the Vellum Paper to a panel of Basic White. Wrap a piece of Balmy Blue Baker’s Twine around the layered panel 3 times and tie a bow. Adhere the layered panel to a Gold Foil mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the Bubble Bath card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wild Ferns Cling Stamp Set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the 2nd largest rectangle die from the Wild Ferns Dies. Cut a panel of Gold Foil using the largest rectangle die from the Wild Ferns Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the Gold Foil mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the sentiment over the Baker’s Twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Iridescent Foil Gems to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from the Wild Ferns stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the butterfly image from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink by the sentiment. Color the butterfly using Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base.
Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the flower and butterfly images from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on the envelope front and flap. Color the images using Balmy Blue, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers.
