Stampin’ Up! Playing In The Rain

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Does anyone have any plans in the works. Once again, I’ll be at work all day today.

I have a quick card for you today using a bundle from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Playing In The Rain 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Playing In The Rain Bundle along with the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper and the Scallop Contours Dies for my card today.

I joined in with the Inspired. Create. Challenge #137, the Theme is Spring Time. It usually rains in the Spring for Summer flower.

Stampin' Up! Playing In The Rain 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Rain or Shine DSP to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Playing In The Rain 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and bunny image from the Stampin’ Up! Playing In The Rain Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the cloud image from the Playing In The Rain stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the same panel. Using my Playing In The Rain Dies, I cut the bunny and cloud images out. For the bunny, I cut it partially our with the die and fussy cut the puddle using my Paper Snips. I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Scallop Contours Dies.

Stampin' Up! Playing In The Rain 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I colored the bunny image using my Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the bunny to the bottom of the card front using Stampn’ Dimensionals. I adhered the clouds and sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Pastel Gems to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Playing In The Rain 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Playing In The Rain stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the bunny image from Playing In The Rain stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using my Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the cloud image from the Playing In The Rain stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the top of the panel and the rain drops in Balmy Blue Ink. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bunny image from Playing In The Rain stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Bunny

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some plans in the works. I’ll be working all day today and I’m not sure about tomorrow.

Today I have a quick fun card that I used my Stamparatus for. The Stamparatus saves lots of time for lining up stamped images. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Photopolymer Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Playing In The Rain Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Best Day Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set on a Basic White card front. I stamped the top in full strength Flirty Flamingo Ink. The 2nd is Flirty Flamingo Ink stamped off once on scrap paper. The 3rd is full strength Mango Melody Ink and the last is Mango Melody Ink stamped off once on scrap paper. I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink overlapping the bottom sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I embossed the stamped panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the stamped & embossed panel to a Mango Melody mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Flirty Flaming card base.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

Using my Playing In The Rain Dies, I cut the bunny image from a panel of Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper. I adhered the bunny to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. From another panel of Rain of Shine DSP, I cut the 2 butterflies out using the Playing In The Rain Dies. I adhered the butterflies to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only on the body of the butterfly.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Best Day stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the bunny image from the Playing in the Rain stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using my Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mango Melody mat then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base.

Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Bunny 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bunny image from Playing In The Rain stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the front of the envelope. I colored the image using my Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Rain of Shine Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
