Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going well. Our town is hopping again today, there is a street fair going on so roads into town are closed again. I’ve lived in this town now for 34 years and I think I’ve been to this street fair once. Today I’ll be heading up to my team leader Amy’s for our in person quarterly meeting. I’m looking forward to seeing other team members in person and via zoom. I’m excited to be stamping with them too. I always look forward to stamping with others, I don’t mind stamping alone, but sometimes it’s fun to be sitting and chatting with others while creating. We’ll be making baby cards which I’ll be sharing through the next week.
My card today could be a sympathy card, a get well or just a card of encouragement. I like to have them on hand, just in case. Also, the ladies where I get my hair cut asked me to bring in cards for them to buy and they specified they needed sympathy. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Gorgeously Made Dies and Petal Patterns Dies for my card today.
My colors are from the TGIF Challenge #423.
I started by adhering a adhesive sheet to the back of a panel of Smoky Slate and cutting the panel with the detail die of Petal Patterns Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to a Smoky Slate card base.
Using the Gorgeously Made Dies, I cut panels of Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist. I adhered the Calypso Coral die cut panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the 2 leaf die cut panels using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I trimmed the excess stem using Paper Snips.
On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. I cut the sentiment using the Gorgeously Made Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Pastel Gems to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie. I stamped the branch image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set above the sentiment in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the leaf image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink on the branch. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Calypso Coral mat then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the branch image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the leaf image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink on the branch images.
