Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Fun Fold

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? I hope your week has started off good. Temps are going back up here in NJ this week, and I’m sure the humidity will be up there too.

My card today was inspired by some flowers in my yard. I have 3 gorgeous Hibiscus plants that are just full of buds waiting to bloom. They have started and it seems like 1 or 2 flowers a day are opening up. Here are 2 of my plants that started blooming, the 3rd one has buds but hasn’t started yet. These flowers are about 10″ in diameter, and I have them in the front yard and backyard of my house.

Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Timeless Charm Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

My design is from Just Add Ink Challenge #662.

I also played along with Just Us Girls CAS Week Challenge #689 Three of Something. I have 3 flowers on my card front.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small Basic White thick card base to the front of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the outline leaf image from the Petal Park stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the solid leaf image from the Petal Park stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamping off on scrap paper once before stamping over the outlined image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Berry Burst mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the small Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the outline flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Berry Burst Ink. I stamped the solid flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Bubble Bath Ink over the outline image. I cut the flowers out using the Petal Park Builder Punch.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the flowers to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Berry Burst, I stamped the top of the sentiment from the Timeless Charm stamp set in Versamark Ink. Using Washi Tape, I covered the bottom part of the sentiment, inked up the stamp and removed the washi tape before stamping. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to a Bubble Bath mat using Glue Dots. I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flower centers and card front.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the bottom part of the sentiment from Timeless Charm stamp set in Berry Burst Ink. Using Washi Tape again, I covered the top part of the sentiment, inked up the stamp and removed the Washi Tape before stamping on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Berry Burst mat using Stampin’ Seal then to the inside of the small Basic White Thick card base.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Fun Fold 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped a portion of the outline leaf image from the Petal Park stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the solid leaf image in Garden Green Ink, stamping off on scrap paper once. I stamped the outline flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Berry burst Ink. I stamped the solid flower image in Bubble Bath Ink over the outline image. I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Block Pop Up for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Does anyone have plans for the weekend yet? It’s my usual working all day Saturday.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. I saw this card made by Lisa Curcio and had to give it a try. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Block Pop Up 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Bundle and Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Bundle. Both of these bundle prices will be retiring as of May 1st. I also used the new Stampin’ Up! Lasting Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set and the new Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Block Pop Up 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by scoring and folding my card base to a Z-Fold card. I adhered the largest panel of Countryside Inn DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the inside back of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the 1 3/4″ X 4 ” panel of Countryside Inn DSP to the coordinating Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Block Pop Up 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I scored & folded the 3 block panels of Misty Moonlight cardstock as listed below. I adhered the 3 panels of Countryside Inn DSP to the 3 coordinating Basic White mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the coordinating blocks as listed below using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. They were all adhered between the 2nd and 3rd score lines. I adhered the 1st block to the inside of the card base using Tear & Tape making sure the left edge was lined up with the 2nd score line of the card base and centered. I put Tear & Tape on the right side of the block panel and adhered it by folding on the 2nd score line and closing the card base. I did the same with block 2 & 3 making sure they were centered with each other and up against the fold line.

The above photo is how it should look.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Block Pop Up 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flowers from the Petal Park stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I punched the flowers out using the Petal Park Builder Punch. From the same panel, I cut out the sentiment mat using the Sending Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the panel of Basic White. I cut the sentiment out using the Sending Dies. I cut the detailed sentiment out from a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using the Sending Dies. I adhered the detailed sentiment to the mat. I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only on the left side. I adhered the Birthday Wishes sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue only on the left side, under the die cut sentiment. I adhered the larger flower by the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the smaller flowers under the larger one using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flower centers.

On the back, I stamped the sentiment form the Lasting Joy stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of the Countryside Inn DSP to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat then to the back of the card base.

Petal Park Thanks for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends Happy Ground Hog Day!!! Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you. I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akikos’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s sketch.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Bundle and the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Regency Park 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering 2 strips of Regency Park DSP to the top and bottom Night of Navy card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the leaf outline image from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Succulent Ink. I stamped the solid leaf image from the Petal Park stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outline image. I stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink next to the leaf image. I embossed the panel using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a small panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the flower trio outline image from the Petal Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I stamped the solid flower trio image from the Petal Park stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outline image. Using the Petal Park Builder Punch, I punched out the flowers. I adhered the 3 flowers to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots to the flowers and card front.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Basic Whtie panel. I stamped the outline stem image from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the solid leaf image from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outline image. I stamped the outline flower image from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the stem. I stamped the solid flower image in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outline flower image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Thanks 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the stem outline and solid stem images from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the outline flower image from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the stem and the solid flower image in Balmy Blue Ink, stamped off once on scrap paper, over the outline image. I adhered a panel of Regency Park DSP to the envelope flap.
