Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. Here we are halfway through another week. Summer is in full spring here in NJ with the temps being in the 90’s again. I really don’t mind the heat, it’s when the humidity comes with it that I can’t breath. Yesterday was 92 and it was just beautiful out.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Bundle along with the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here are the products in the Nests of Winter Suite (minus the card bases)

I cut a panel of Basic Gray using the largest die from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. I adhered a panel of Nests of Winter DSP t the back of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the layered panel to a Misty Moonlight card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Gray Granite, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the bottom of the panel.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the single bird and spray images from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Night of Navy watercolor pencils from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment #2. I cut the images out using the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. I adhered the spray on an angle to the card front tucked under the sentiment. I adhered the bird on top of the spray using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Earth Tones Shimmer Gems to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the single bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencils. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Basic Gray mat then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base.,

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the spray image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope flap. I colored the images the same as I did for the card using the Watercolor Pencils.
