Good Sunday morning stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It’s going to be a very rainy day here in NJ. I have to work at the dog bakery today, then tonight my husband bought me tickets for my birthday for a concert. I am so excited and looking forward to going.
Today’s card is one that we made last Sunday at our quarterly meeting. This card was designed by one of my team members Mary Deatherage. It’s a great way to use up those scraps of DSP that you have around and don’t know what to do with. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Bundle along with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by using the Merriest Trees Dies and cutting the largest tree from the 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″ panel of Basic White. I embossed the panel using the Snowflake Sky EF. I placed the embossed panel on top of the 4″ X 5 14″ mat and lightly traced the tree with a pencil.
I randomly adhered the strips of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to the traced tree using Liquid Glue. You can place these strips straight or on an angle, however you prefer. Once the tree was completely covered, I trimmed off any excess using Paper Snips. I adhered the die cut embossed panel over the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Photopolymer Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink. I cut the end into a banner using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Glue Dot and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a Gold Foil star using the Merriest Trees Dies. I adhered the star using Liquid Glue to the top of the tree.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Merriest Trees stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie. I stamped the star image from the Merriest Trees stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink on top of the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Poppy Parade mat then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the top of the tree image from the Merriest Trees stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the detailed tree image from the Merriest Trees over the solid image in Shaded Spruce Ink. I stamped the star image from the Merriest Trees in Crushed Curry Ink on top of the tree. I adhered a panel of Merry Bold & Bright DSP to the envelope flap.

I’m doing a Designer Series Paper Share and a Ribbon Share! What is a Paper Share and a Ribbon Share you ask? It’s a sample of each of the new Designer Series Papers and the Ribbon from the Stampin’ Up! January-April 2024 Minil Catalog. If you were to purchase all of the DSP and Ribbon in the new Mini Catalog, it would cost you over $141.00 plus shipping.
New Designer Series Paper Share – $15.00 plus $8.50 for Priority Mail Shipping
I’m offering a Designer Series Paper share from the Stampin’ Up! January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and I’d love to have you join!! I’m placing my share order early on January 4th. I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of January 15th.
How my shares work: I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list. I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can! Shares give you a good working sample of all of the papers so that you can decide which ones to order in full packs!

You will receive one 6×6 sheet of each design from the following DSP packs (the number after the name indicates how many 6×6 sheets of that paper pack you will receive):

As a Thank you gift for joining in on my paper share, I will be including a sampling of some of the new Sale-a-bration DSP that will be available with qualifying orders. I believe there are 5 different DSPs in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I’m not sure yet which ones I’ll be including, it might be 1, 3 or all 5.
