Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms Thinking of You

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers and Happy Memorial Day.  Please take a moment to remember all the men and women who risked their lives for us and all the those who still do.  Remember to thank them when you see them.  My dad was one who fought in WWII for us and I think of him everyday, not just today.  Is anyone able to do anything today?  My niece and her boys are coming over for a very small picnic and to celebrate my daughters birthday.  We usually have a big picnic, but under the circumstances we are not.  In the past years, there has been a huge bike race in our town on Memorial Day.  This year the parade and race have been cancelled.

For today’s card I made something a little different than I usually do.  I’m usually all about the colors, well not today.  Here’s my card for you today.

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the new Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder (available June 3rd).   I adhered it to a Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut out an oval frame using the Heirlooms Frames and embossed it using the Heirlooms 3D Embossing Folder.  This set will be retiring June 2nd.  On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set in Rococo Rose Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the back of the frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the frame to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Rococo Rose.  I stamped the flourish image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Rococo Rose above and below the sentiment.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base using Snail.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope using some of the retiring Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Don’t forget, if you like this Heirlooms Frames & 3D Embossing Folder grab it while you still can.  I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day. Stay safe everyone.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Heirloom for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your time with family and friends.  We celebrate on Christmas Eve, so our Christmas Day was a very quiet relaxing day.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here is my card using these colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Rococo Rose cardstock using the Heirlooms Frame Dies and 3D Embossing Folder.  On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the largest die from the Layering Ovals Dies.  I stamped the stem image from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment on the oval.  I stamped the flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink, stamping off once, on the stem.

I adhered the sentiment oval to the back of the Rococo Rose frame using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the frame to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Path of Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, to the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel twice.  I stamped the flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink, stamping off once, on the stem image.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Rococo Rose mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the stem image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink on the stem image on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Anniversary Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today?  Did you all have a nice weekend?

For today I have an anniversary card with a bit of a vintage look.  I used the Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Bundle to make it.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Heirlooms Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folder, I cut an oval frame out of Smoky Slate cardstock and embossed it with the coordinating embossing folder.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the scrolls from the Woven Heirloom stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink above and below the sentiment  I cut the sentiment out using the Layering Ovals Dies.

I adhered the sentiment oval to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the frame over the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I made a small Blackberry Bliss bow made from the Nature’s Twine and adhered it to the frame using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the  center or a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the small scrolls from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Blackberry Bliss in all 4 corners.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the scroll images from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
