Good Monday morning my stamping friends. I hope you have the day off and have some picnic plans or maybe just taking some time to relax. My plan was to try to get ahead at my card table today. We’ll see what happens, my husband decided to invite a bunch of people over for a barbeque which I am NOT prepared for.
I have a quick and easy card for you today that I was able to make so quickly it scared me. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Happiness Abounds Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Designer Tags Dies for my card today.
I started by stamping the sentiment from Happiness Abounds stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Night of Navy cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder from the Basic Embossing Powders and set it using the Heat Tool.
Using the Designer Tags Dies, I cut the flower image on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Night of Navy panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut the butterfly die from the Designer Tags Dies from a panel of 2022-2024 In-Color Glimmer Paper. I adhered the butterfly to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow using the Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon and adhered it using a Glue Dot. I added a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels by the flower and Classic Matte Dots on the butterfly.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the rose image from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink on the bottom of the panel. I masked the rose using a Post-It Note, which I cut the rose out of, and stamped the leaf image from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink. I colored the leaves using my Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I colored parts of the rose using my Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Night of Navy mat and then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the rose image from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink on the envelope front and flap. I masked the rose with a Post-It Note and stamped the leaf image from the Happiness Abounds around the rose in Parakeet Party Ink. I colored part of the rose and the leaves in using my Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.
