Good Monday morning stamping friends, it’s TAX DAY!! Did everyone get their taxes done? Every year I seem to wait until the last minute, we got ours done last week. I just hate getting everything together and adding everything up. How was everyone’s weekend? Yesterday was a beautiful day here in NJ. I was trying to get some cards done and I had crafters block, so I decided to walk away and go outside for a bit. I did some weeding, cutting of the grass and spring cleanup in the yard. It didn’t help my crafters block unfortunately and all it got me was all muddy LOL.
Today I played with a set that is carrying over to the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog and some Online Exclusives. If you’d like to see a quick video on how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Everyday Details Dies, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and Online Exclusive Meandering Meadows 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by cutting a panel of Meandering Meadow DSP into 1″ strips and adhering it to a Lemon Lolly mat using Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack, around the layered panel and tied a bow.
I embossed a panel of Night of Navy using the Painted Texture EF. I adhered the layered panel to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink. I stamped the solid daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink over the detailed image. I stamped the daisy center in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the stem and leaves from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink. I cut the image out using the Everyday Details Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Night of Navy Ink over the stem and leaves. I adhered the die cut panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the outline daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink. I stamped the solid daisy image in Lemon Lolly Ink and the daisy center in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the stem and leaves from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Lemon Lolly mat then to a Night of Navy mat. I adhered the layered panel to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Meandering Meadows DSP to the envelope flap.

I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of May 13th.
How my shares work: I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list. I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can! Shares give you a good working sample of all of the papers so that you can decide which ones to order in full packs!
