Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s sketch.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee Cling Stamp Set along with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and Elegant Borders Dies for my card today. All these items are from the Online Exclusive product list.
Here is our sketch for this week.
I started by cutting the right side of the card front base using the Elegant Borders Dies. I adhered a panel of Pool Party to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic white, I stamped the flower and bee images from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the small flower and bee images from the Queen Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink around the sentiment. I colored the images using Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Pool Party to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card base using Stampin’ Seal.
To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower and bee images from the Queen Bee stamp set on the envelope front and the large queen bee from the Queen Bee stamp set on the envelope flap. I colored the images using Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thirteen states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. So, if you live in one of those states, take a second to download the spreadsheet Click Here and mark your calendar! Florida is still going on now. Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia start on Friday August 4th. Arkansas starts on Saturday August 5th.
