Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How has your week started? Today’s a very special day; it’s my dad’s birthday and he was the most wonderful dad any child would want. Unfortunately, I lost him 28 years ago, but he will always be in my heart. I still remember our walks together, the games we played, puzzles we built and all the wonderful things we did together. Yes, I was a daddy’s little girl. Did you or do you still have a special bond with your dad?
Today’s card I played with some older sets from the annual catalog. Sometimes we forget about those with all the new products from the mini catalogs and online exclusives. I’ve also used one of the 2023-2025 In-Colors that will be retiring in April. If this is one you like, grab it while it’s still available. I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set and Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
Emboss a Copper Clay card front using the Distressed Tile EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Copper Clay card base using Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the large image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Copper Clay Ink. Adhere the stamped panel to a Copper Clay mat using Stampin’ Seal. Wrap a piece of the Copper Jute Trim around the bottom and tie a bow. On a panel of Copper Clay, stamp the same image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the image with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Adhere the heat embossed panel to a Basic Beige mat using Stampin’ Seal.
Adhere the layered embossed panel to the card front using Liquid Glue. Adhere the stamped layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Delicate Forest Die. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2023-2025 In-Color Opaque Sparkle Dots to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from Layering Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Basic Beige. Stamp the image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set on the side of the panel in Copper Clay Ink. Adhere the Basic Beige panel to a Copper Clay mat then to the inside of the Copper Clay card base.
Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of 2023-2025 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
