Good Saturday morning stamping friends, welcome to the weekend!!! HAPPY FEBRUARY!! Does anyone have any plans in the works yet for the weekend? It’s the 1st, so I’ll be in the office doing my bills and getting them in the mail.
I played with an Online Exclusive bundle and Sale-a-bration DSP for today’s card. This is one of my absolute favorite flowers. I have them all around my yard during the summer and the blooming is unbelievable. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Happy Hibiscus Bundle along with the Sale-a-bration Blooms Impressions Designer Series Paper (free with qualifying order of $60) and the Spotlight on Nature Dies for my card today.
My design is from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #455
Adhere the panel of Bloom Impressions DSP to the Melon Mambo card base using Liquid Glue.
Emboss the panel of Basic White using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Adhere the embossed panel to a Shy Shamrock mat using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the card front using Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the medium outline flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus Photopolymer Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Inks. Stamp the medium solid flower image from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Inks, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outlined images. Stamp the 2 outline leaf images from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Shy Shamrock Ink. Stamp the solid leaf images from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Shy Shamrock Ink, stamping off on scrap paper, over the outlined images. Cut the images out using the Happy Hibiscus Dies.
Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on the panel of Basic White and cut the sentiment out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Cut 2 of the small flower dies using the Happy Hibiscus Dies from scraps of Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo. Adhere the sentiment to the center of the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the leaves to the back of the flowers using Glue Dots. Adhere the flowers above and below the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the 2 small flowers to the sentiment using Glue Dots. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the large, outlined flower image from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the bottom of the panel. Stamp the solid large flower image from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outlined image. Stamp the outline leaf images from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Shy Shamrock Ink around the flower. Stamp the solid leaf image in Shy Shamrock Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outline images. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Shy Shamrock mat then to the inside of the Melon Mambo card base.
Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. Stamp the large, outlined flower image from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the large solid flower image from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the outlined image. Stamp the outline leaf image in Shy Shamrock Ink around the hibiscus. Stamp the solid leaf image in Shy Shamrock Ink, stamping off once of scrap paper, over the outlined images. Adhere a panel of Bloom Impressions DSP to the envelope flap.
