Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Deep Sea Turtles

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works. I’ll be working all day today and tomorrow. It’s that time of the year when everyone wants to take vacation and it always ends up being the same time.

Today’s card started out being a simple one but ended up with multiple pieces.  If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Beauty Of The Deep
Sea Turtles 1 creativestampinngdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of the Deep Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtles Photopolymer Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set, Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper, Beauty of the Deep Dies and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.

I joined in with Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #441. I focused on the sea turtle in the photo.

Stampin' Up! Beauty Of The Deep
Sea Turtles 2 creativestampinngdesigns.com

I started by stamping a panel of Winter Meadow DSP using the bubble image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the panel to a Basic White Thick card base using Liquid Glue.

Sea Turtles 3 creativestampinngdesigns.com

On a panel of Peach Pie, I stamped the coral image from Beauty of the Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink. I stamped the seaweed image from the Beauty of the Deep stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on a panel of Shy Shamrock. Using the Beauty of the Deep Dies, I cut the stamped coral image, the seaweed image and the coral image from a panel of Highland Heather. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the detailed small turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink 3 times. I flipped the stamp over and stamped the solid turtle image in Summer Splash Ink over the detailed images. I fussy cut the images using Paper Snips.

I adhered the seaweed and Highland Heather coral to the card front using Liquid Glue. I adhered the Calypso Coral, coral image using Stampin Dimensionals. I adhered the turtles to the card front using Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on a panel of Basic White in Blueberry Bushel Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Tinsel Gem to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from Seaside Wishes stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the coral image from the Beauty of the Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the small turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock and Summer Splash Inks on the top of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat then t the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the coral image from the Beauty of the Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the small turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock and Summer Splash Inks by the coral. I adhered a panel of Winter Meadow DSP, which I stamped with the bubble image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink, to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Deep for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? We’re at the Last weekend of July which means just about the end of Bonus Days.

Today’s card I made on YouTube Live on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the link to my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Deep Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Photopolymer Stamp Set, Deckled Rectangle Dies, All That Dies, Online Exclusives Hello Irresistible 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and Basics 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by folding the large card base in half on the 5″ score line. I then folded the smaller inner panel on the 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″ & 3 1/2″ score lines making them all mountain folds. I added Tear & Tape on the 1/2″ section. Laying the card flat, I folded the scored section on the 1 1/2″ score line (tear & tape facing up) and folded the right side over adhering it together. I added Tear & Tape between the 2 1/2″ & 3 1/2″ score lines. I laid the inside panel butted up against the large card base score line, so the Tear & Tape was facing up and the longer part was flat on the back of the card base. I folded the front of the card base down onto the panel to adhere them together.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I embossed a Lost Lagoon card front using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the card front through the center panel twice and tied a small bow in the front. Using the 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies, I cut a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP. I stamped the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of The Deep Cling Stamp Set in Soft Sea Foam Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the DSP to look like tiny bubbles.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the coral image from the Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink. I stamped the seaweed image from Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink 3 times & the anchor image in Pebbled path Ink. I stamped the 2 fish images from Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink and Blueberry Bushel Ink. I cut all the images out using the Beauty of The Deep Dies. Using the Beauty of The Deep Dies again, I cut 2 of the taller seaweed dies from a panel of Moody Mauve and 3 of the small coral dies from a panel of Petal Pink.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the die cut pieces to the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a small panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Lost lagoon Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the oval die from the All That Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Tinsel Gems Three Pack to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 7 creativestampingdesigns.com

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from Happy Labels stamp set on a panel of Basic White in Lost Lagoon Ink. I stamped the coral image from the Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the seaweed image from Beauty of the Deep stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink next to the coral and the angle fish image in Tuxedo Black Ink above the coral. I stamped the tiny splatter image from Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, by the fish. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside panel using Stampin’ Seal. I cut a strip of Hello Irresistible DSP using the side of the Deckled Rectangle Die to cut the edge of the paper like the card front panel. I adhered the strip to the edge of the inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 8 creativestampingdesigns.com

For the inside back, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the anchor image from the Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the coral image from Beauty of The Deep stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink and the seaweed image in Pretty Peacock Ink. I stamped the fish image from Beauty of The Deep in Blueberry Bushel Ink next to the coral. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside back of the card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered 2 panels of Hello Irresistible DSP to the column using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Beauty of The Deep Fun Fold 9 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.
