Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It’s cold and windy here in NJ so my plan is to stay inside today. Last I heard there’s a snowstorm heading our way. Depending on which way the storm turns will determine if we’re getting 2″- 4″ or 8″-10″. That’s what everyone was saying at work yesterday when they were running in and picking up bags of salt, sand and snow shovels.

For my card today I went out of my comfort zone with the colors. As a lot of you know I’m not a huge fan of orange and yellow, but it worked well with the Sale-a-bration DSP. I got the design from my upline, Jaimie. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Butterflies Bundle and the Sale-a-bration Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper for my card today. Both of these products will be available starting Tuesday January 7th.

Adhere a panel of Bloom Impressions DSP to a Pumpkin Pie card base using Stampin’ Seal. Cut a Pumpkin Pie card front using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies and Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Adhere the die cut embossed card front to the Pumpkin Pie card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut the butterfly body from a panel of Basic Black using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. Adhere the butterfly body to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Butterflies Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie Ink. Cut the ends on an angle using Paper Snips. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Glue Dots. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White stamp, the sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Pumpkin Pie Ink. Stamp the 2 butterfly images from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Inks, stamping off once on scrap paper for each of them on either side of the sentiment. Adhere 2 strips of Bloom Impressions DSP to either side of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Daffodil Delight mat then to the inside of the Pumpkin Pie card base.

Finish the card by decorating a Basic White Medium Envelope. stamp the 2 butterfly images from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Inks on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of Bloom Impressions DSP to the envelope flap.

How my shares work:  I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ X 6″ pieces (or 6″ X 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list.  I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can!
