Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. By the time you are reading this I will be flying to Houston TX for our Stampin’ Up! Onstage Event. I can’t wait to get there to meet up with all my team members. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. I kind of turned and flipped the sketch for my card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Cling Stamp Set and the Artistic Dies for my card today. I also used the Everyday Details Dies to make a mat to color the circle.
Here is our sketch for this week.
My colors are from the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #532.
I started by cutting the largest circle die from the Everyday Details Dies from a scrap paper. I placed the cut paper over a Basic White card front and using my Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat using Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink towards the top of the circle. I adhered the layered panel to an Azure Afternoon card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the Artistic Dies, I cut the leaf die from a panel of Old Olive. I adhered the die cut leaves to the card front using Liquid Glue. I added a few Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Azure Afternoon Ink. On the bottom of the panel, I stamped the flower image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink. I stamped 2 more of the flowers in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the leaf image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Old Olive Ink by the flowers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat then to the inside of the Azure Afternoon card base.
To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the envelope front and flap. I stamped the leaf image from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Old Olive Ink next to the flowers.
