Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you are ready for the weekend. Looks like we’ve got 6 more weeks of winter coming to us, the groundhog saw his shadow yesterday. I don’t know how it is by you, but it’s supposed to be cold here this weekend.
I have a quick fun fold for you today. This is not what I was planning on making Wednesday when I got stuck at work later than usual. I had everything planned out that I was going to be done with work by 1:30/2:00, I’d get home and get everything set up and be ready to go. My bills had other plans for me. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Year Cling Stamp Set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog along with the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by cutting 2 3/4″ off the front of the card base leaving 2 3/4″. I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Timeworn Type 3d Embossing Folder. Using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker, I flicked some ink on the panel to give a splattered look. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flower image from the Amazing Year stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored just the flowers using my sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut a panel of Sweet Sorbet cardstock using the Scalloped Contours Dies. I adhered the artwork to the die cut panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left half of the panel.
I tied a double bow using the 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine Pack and adhered it to the floral image using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I adhered a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP to the inside of the Basic Whtie Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the sentiments from the Amazing Year stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the top of the floral image from the Amazing Year stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored just the flowers using my Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card base using Stampin’ Seal.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Amazing Year stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the flowers only using my Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP to the envelope flap.
