Good Friday morning stamping friends. I don’t have my fun fold card for today. I’ve been running around trying to get everything ready for vacation and I just ran out of time to make my card for today. It’s been a minute since I went on a vacation, and I forgot how much I have to do. Having 2 dogs now adds a bit to the list. I have one person staying at my house with them and 2 others stopping in while she’s at work to bring them out and feed the puppy. Tara Carpenter and I are teaming up for something fun!!! We’ll be offering a fun online class featuring the Otterly Adorable Suite Collection. We’ll be making 6 cards in the class using the Suite which will be available starting November 5. Good Sunday morning stamping friends HAPPY FALL!!!!! I hope your weekend is going well. I’ve been MIA for a couple days; things have been a bit chaotic at my house. I had plans Thursday when I got home from work to go into my card studio to make my card for Friday. Those plans changed when I came home and my dogs came in from playing and Gidget’s, the puppy, paw was sliced open. Made a quick call to the animal hospital and they said to bring her right in. 10 staples later and wearing the cone of shame we came home. We’re guessing that when she was outside playing, she ran into my husband so hard almost knocking him over, her paw hit him and split. Needless to say, she came home with pain meds and antibiotics. Surprisingly, we were in and out of the hospital in 1 hour. Well, just like a small child, she’s fine and is acting like nothing is wrong, except for the cone and being a little wobbly when on the pain meds. I had the same plans for Friday, but everyone and the pups had different plans for me. I was baking, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the pup all day and by the time I was done, I was done!! I’ll be back tomorrow with a card and tutorial for you.

More Than Autumn Project Ideas

CASEing the layout from cards in the current catalog make cards quick and easy!  The card on the right is showcased in the catalog…and the card on the left uses the same layout with the More Than Autumn stamp set bundle!

To create the project on the left:  Wrap a strand of Very Vanilla twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around a panel of To Market DSP and tie a bow.  Adhere the panel to the front of a Pecan Pie card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock at an angle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Stamp the cup and pie images from the More Than Autumn stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then color them with Natural Tones and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Use Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends to draw lines across the sleeve on the coffee cup.  Stamp the whipped cream, pumpkin and straw images in Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red inks on Basic White card stock and then color them with Natural Tones, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Cut the images with the coordinating More Than Autumn Dies and adhere the die cut pieces to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Pumpkin Pie card stock and adhere it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Cut a heart from Real Red card stock with the die from the More Than Autumn Dies and adhere it to the cup with a Mini Glue Dot to finish it.
