Basics Embossing Powders Sold Out Until Later This Year

Stampin’ Up! posted an update to let us know that the Basics Embossing Powders are sold out and won’t be returning until some time this fall.  Here are the details from the update:

“We are in the process of switching manufacturers for our Basics Embossing Powders (item 155554). When we began this transition, North America selling trends indicated we had enough inventory to last through the end of the 2023–2024 Annual Catalog sales period. Since then, selling trends have shifted. The powders have been very popular, causing us to sell out far faster than anticipated. As much as we appreciate a high-selling item, it does create complications in this instance, as we’re currently out of Basics Embossing Powders in North America. As a result, we are discontinuing item 155554 for our North American market.   

We will re-introduce the Basic Embossing Powders in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, but they’ll be under a different item number.  Unfortunately, we anticipate that the new embossing powders will not arrive until fall. Good Monday morning stamping friends. Well, another Stampin’ Up! OnStage Event in the books and we had such a good time. I can’t wait till I can order the new catalogs and share them with you. Until then, I’m only allowed to show the cover. It was great getting together with everyone oohing and aahing over the new catalog. There was a lot of laughs and fun times this weekend. I place my pre-pre order and hopefully I’ll get my new products and be able to share with you this week.

I thought I would share some pictures with you of things we received and the fun we had this weekend.

We had a 7am flight to Houston on Thursday. Ann Louise, Terry Lynn and I sat together on the plane. Donna and Amy were up front sitting.

We were able to check into our hotel as soon as we got there. Our room view was the Houston Astros Stadium.

This is the roof top pool area at the hotel.

Once we were checked in and unpacked a bit, we met up for a nice lunch at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was delicious.

After lunch it was onto the convention center for our opening session. At check in we got our swag, a pretty smart backpack, an organizer bin, a small notebook to take notes during OnStage, pens, pins and our name tags.

After our opening session our team leader Amy found this food truck to go to for dinner. It was a nice walk through Houston. At first, I was a little hesitant, but the food was amazing.

We all sat outside on picnic tables talking, eating and laughing.

There was a huge sculpture of the Beatles there too.

After dinner we had our OnStage After Hours where we received a pack of the new 2024-2026 In-Color cardstock pack, a bundle that we chose at registration, a pack of embellishments and baker’s twine.

Here are 2 more of the bundles that other’s chose to play with.

We also got to play with the new 2024-2026 In-Color stamp pads.

Friday morning started our sessions and presentations. These are some of the gifts that other team members brought for everyone.

During our lunch break on Friday and Saturday there was a Product Playground that we could go around and do different activities.

Ann Louise is attaching In-Color swatches up high where some of us couldn’t reach.

Here’s the finished project.

Ann Louise and Mary were making cards on a magnetic board.

Ann Louise and Jaimie put their favorite color combos together and attached them to this board.

We got to vote on our favorite new 2024-2026 In-Color by putting ping pong balls in our favorite new In-Color bins. Mary Kay wanted them all to go into Petunia Pop. Petunia Pop was the winning color.

There was a whole wall of all of our ribbons.

Here’s a peek at some of the new Designer Series Paper coming in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog in May. If you’ve placed an order with me in the past year, you are on my list to receive a catalog as soon as I get them.

There’s always Prize Patrol at our Stampin’ Up! OnStage Events. I received a pack of one of the new DSP’s coming, a new kit that will be coming soon and a stamp set.

We ended out Stampin’ Up! OnStage Event with a group picture of everyone that was able to attend. This event is for ALL demonstrators, hobby and business. I am part of this awesome group of friendly demonstrators. They are like an extended family to me. We ended Saturday night with a team pizza party where we all sat around talking about the catalog, things coming, getting to know one another and eating. I’m already looking forward to OnStage 2025. Basics Embossing Powders Sold Out Until Later This Year

Stampin’ Up! posted an update to let us know that the Basics Embossing Powders are sold out and won’t be returning until some time this fall.  Here are the details from the update:

“We are in the process of switching manufacturers for our Basics Embossing Powders (item 155554). When we began this transition, North America selling trends indicated we had enough inventory to last through the end of the 2023–2024 Annual Catalog sales period. Since then, selling trends have shifted. The powders have been very popular, causing us to sell out far faster than anticipated. As much as we appreciate a high-selling item, it does create complications in this instance, as we’re currently out of Basics Embossing Powders in North America. As a result, we are discontinuing item 155554 for our North American market.   

We will re-introduce the Basic Embossing Powders in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, but they’ll be under a different item number.  Unfortunately, we anticipate that the new embossing powders will not arrive until fall. This means there will be some time North American customers can see the powders in our catalog but not be able to purchase them until they arrive. 

We apologize for any complications this transition may create. Thank you for your patience as we eagerly await our new line of powders.”

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How is your week going? I can’t wait for spring to get here. We get a little bit warmer of a day and I think that spring might just show up a little quicker.

Today’s card is one of the cards we made at the workshop on Sunday. I have 2 versions to show you since I made one ahead of time and I stamped one with the ladies at the workshop. They are both identical except for the DSP I used. If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made my card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Cling Stamp Set along with the Nested Essentials Dies, Online Exclusive Deckled Circles Dies and Sale-a-bration Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hellos Cling Stamp Set and Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper for my card today. The Sale-a-bration stamp set and DSP are only available until Thursday February 29th with qualifying orders of $50. Did you know, if you purchase the Stippled Roses Bundle you can get this pack of Softly Stippled DSP for free and it goes perfectly with the set.

I started by adhering a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to a Basic White Thick card base using Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the center of the card front using Liquid Glue. I adhered a narrow panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the side of the card front using Liquid Glue.

I cut a circle from a panel of Basic White using the Deckled Circles Dies. I stamped part of the large rose image form the Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on the circle. I adhered the circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Nested Essentials Dies keeping the sentiment towards the bottom of the die. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Seal letting the top of the die cut hang off. I cut the excess using Paper Snips. I added a 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the sentiment and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set in Pebbled Path Ink on a panel of Baic White. I stamped the small rose image from the Stippled Roses stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink (Wild Wheat on the 2nd card) over the sentiment. I stamped the large leaf image from the Stippled Roses stamp set on either side of the panel in Pebbled Path Ink. I adhered a strip of Softly Stippled DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pebbled Path mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small rose image from the Stippled Roses stamp set in Calypso Coral Ink (Wild Wheat on the other card) on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Softly Stippled DSP to the envelope flap.

If you love the kits as much as I do, you’ll be happy to see changes coming to the Kits Collection in 2024! Here are some changes that you’ll see:

• Doubling the yearly offering. Starting January 2024, Stampin’ Up! will release two kits per month in a variety of kit types and styles.
• Discontinuing older kits. As the new kits are introduced, Stampin’ Up! will discontinue older kits.  So pick up any of the older kits that you’d like soon so that you don’t miss out!   
• Removing printed artwork from kit stamp set acetate sheets. Stamps in kits will no longer have printed stamp set acetate sheets. This means the kit artwork will no longer be printed on the stamp acetate sheets.  This change will apply to both the Kits Collection kits and Paper Pumpkin stamp sets.  As a replacement for the printed stamp acetate sheet currently in each stamping kit, Stampin’ Up! will include a separate paper print piece that displays the stamp artwork and stamp name.  This new piece will be a great resource for identifying and storing kit stamps.
  • For Paper Pumpkin, the acetate sheet change will start with the first kit of 2024.
  • For the Kits Collection, the acetate sheet change will start with the first stamping kit release after June 2024.  This will be a rolling change, so kits released before June 2024 may be replenished with stamps that do not have printed acetate sheets.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
