Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have to go into the office today for the end of the month paperwork. I’m hoping to get done quickly so I have the rest of the day to do what I want. Can you believe it’s the last day of June? I can’t. That means it’s also the last day to get the additional 10% off the Stamp & Dies Bundles.

Today’s card is another one that I made last Saturday at the Creativity Now event. This one was a lot of fun to make using the new suite that will be coming in September in the mini catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Bundle that will be available for purchase in September, along with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for my card today.

I started by using the center panel of the die cut from the card I made at the Creativity Now Event last Saturday. You can see that card Here. I placed the die cut panel on a panel of Basic White and using my Small Blending Brush I added Mossy Meadow Ink. I flipped the panel around and added more Mossy Meadow Ink using the Small Blending Brush. I wrapped a piece of the Natural Tones Linen Thread (available in September) around the panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Smoky Slate, I stamped the double bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using the Balmy Blue and Watercolor Pencil for the birds and Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil for the berries I cut the image out using the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. I adhered the birds to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front over the linen thread using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Earthtone Shimmer Gems (available in September) to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White. I placed the die cut center panel on the top of the Basic White panel and added Mossy Meadow Ink using the Small Blending Brush. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the double bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image using Balmy Blue and Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencils. I used the center die cut panel again on the envelope flap and added Mossy Meadow Ink using the Small Blending Brush.
