Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? What are you all doing this weekend? I’ll be at work tomorrow all day and I’m not sure about Sunday yet. I have the day off again, YAY!!!
Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay Bundle along with the By The Bay 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by cutting 2 3/4″ off the 4 1/4″ X 11″ Sahara Sand Card front using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered a panel of By The Bay DSP to the front of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Sahara Sand Panel, horizontally, to the card front using Stampin’ Seal only on the left side.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the bird image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the top of the panel. On a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock, I stamped the shell/sand image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink. After letting it dry for a bit, I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my Clear Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I cut the panel using the sand border die from the Seaside Bay Dies. I adhered the panel to the bottom of the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Seal. From a panel of Mint Macaron cardstock I cut the sea grass using my Seaside Bay Dies. I added a little Mint Macaron Ink to the grass using my Sponge Dauber. From a panel of Sahara Sand and Pearlescent Specialty Paper I cut the shell image using the Seaside Bay Dies.
I cut the Pearlescent shell in half and adhered it to the inside of the Sahara Sand die cut shell. I brushed a little Petal Pink Ink on top of the shell using my Small Blending Brush. I adhered the sea grass die cut pieces to the Basic White panel using Glue Dots. I adhered the shell on top of the grass using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the Basic White panel the Sahara Sand card front using Stampin’ Seal. I added a Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearl inside the shell and Iridescent Pearls to the card front.
On the inside, I adhered a panel of By The Bay DSP to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Starry Sky Ink. I stamped the shell and sand image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside left of the card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the larger shell image from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of By The Bay DSP to the envelope flap.
