Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope there are some fun plans for you in the works. I’ll be working all day today, but I have off tomorrow. I picked up some plants yesterday and I’m hoping to get them in their flowerpots today after work. I bought a bunch of herbs, and my daughter wanted a jalapeño pepper plant and of course I had to buy some Gerber Daisies to put in some of my flowerpots around my patio. I put the herbs in flowerpots around all my tomato plants to help keep the critters away. My tomato plants have little tomatoes on them already. If we ever get rain here and then a nice hot day, these plants are going to take off.

Today I have a clean and simple card for you using just stamps, ink and paper. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bird’s Eye Vies Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to a Basic Whtie Mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic Whtie, I stamped the book image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the bird image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on top of the books. I stamped the glasses image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on the bird image. I colored the images using Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Misty Moonlight, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the artwork to a Pecan Pie mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on top of the panel. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the bird image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the glasses image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set on the bird in Wild Wheat Ink. I colored the bird with Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the book image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wheat and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the envelope flap.
